It’ll look nice with t-30 springer and whatever line that era skids was from.

 

Since I never much cared about IDW Blurr who has done largely nothing but run a bar for a while during Barber\'s mind-numbingly boring run, it\'s an easy pass. Nice remold, but never liked this weird ornate headsculpt - we already had this with the Drift remold too.  I skipped that too.
Honestly, Animated, TR and SS86 Blurr are all the Blurrs I need. I am even considering getting rid of my Cybertron Blurr.

 

I'm not into the IDW comics at all but that new Blurr looks FANTASTIC. Wow.

Each new remold of the SS86 Blurr mold (SG and IDW) really makes the original look like the pice of trash that it is.

 

Blurr collection intensifies

 

This guy has turned out a lot better than I had expected. I couldn't get over SS'86 Blurr's face sculpt, but really dig the SG version and I wouldn't mind adding this one to my collection as well. Love that head and those colors. The forearm kibble's even more of an overkill this time around, but that was one of the weaker parts of this mold anyways, and they look pretty spiffy in spacecar mode in return.

Also glad to hear the toy's joints are nice and tight for the most part. I'm fairly pleased with the hand feel of my SG Blurr (only had to add some acryllic varnish around the pin joints in his forearm kibble to keep them from wobbling all around the place), so if this guy will probably be tactile treat.

 

That is still my all-time favorite comic book series.
So I could probably name a good 20 MTMTE/LL characters that Hasbro has never made a toy for that could use one.

....And at least a good 15 existing characters that could use an IDW makeover like Blur here.

I really wish I knew how HasTak gets together at meetings to decide which TF characters get the green light for whichever new TF Lines get the greenlight...

I'm sure it's based on ratings, popularity, which individual names can be Trademarked that haven't been and how hard it can be to do so... Is there a list? Do they simply play "Spin the bottle with list or or have designers and marketers occasionally throw darts at a group of TF names written on a board. Sometimes they clearly listen to us on these fan sites and social media groups and other times.....

Don't be surprised a Legacy Metroplex review will come up in a few days time, since he did come up for sale together with IDW Blurr a few days ago.

 

I like the headsculpt fine, deco's nice, I like the SS Blurr toy fine so I know the transformation is alright, but I hate the vehicle mode.

 

Isn’t he as much G1ified Cyberverse Blurr as he is IDW? As much as Legacy Bulkhead is Prime Bulkhead, at least.

 

You could argue for either I guess, but he's missing the leg wheels in the ankles seen on the Cyberverse design so I lean more towards IDW than Cyberverse. Though, IDW is clearly the inspiration for the Cyberverse design so when it's on your shelf call it whatever you like I guess?

It actually looks alright! i didn’t mind the ss blurr but I love the idw design, it looks amazing

 

Still hoping for a Drift/Deadlock from that updated Punch/Counterpunch mold.
