Looks more like a light up statue than a lamp.

 

According to their FB page it's 26 inches tall with the base, and they are calling it a lamp.

 

what the hey? i was expecting one of those bendy lamps with the bulb socket shaped like unicron's planet mode.....this is vastly cooler!

 

I don't do statues, but I kind of want this.

It loses a few points because
*I don't think it'd give enough light to be used as a bedside lamp for reading with
*Rodimus is totally out of scale with Unicorn.

Someone do the maths .... if Unicron is 26 inches minus the base, and Rodimus comes up to the knee, does that make Rodiumus a similar size to MP9, MP28 or neither of them.

 

Rodimus is 6.5 inches tall.

 

So does it light your darkest hour?

Cool, I wonder if it is being called a lamp since you will probably have to plug it in and switch it on to light it up instead of batteries, which is how I think Prime 1 should be doing their statues but maybe they don't want to call their statues lamps.

I would love to display that with my figurines but I'm afraid of how much it will cost. I want it so badly though >.<

 

This would look cool on anybody's night stand. Would love to have this. The price is the only factor If i can get it or not. Afraid to know what it will cost.  

 

An in-scale Rodimus would have to be like 5 mm high.

I love this statue, BUT...

Unicron is not a Decepticon.  

 

Any estimate on price here? $200? $600? $1200?

 

They're going to price themselves out. This thing is going to run 1k easily, especially if you compare it to those recent giant statutes that are being released.

 

Smaller than that. Unicron is planet-sized, and any normal sized Transformer is only about 20-30 feet tall.

 

I owned a Hard Hero Unicron statue which I gave to my Brother recently as a gift, after having it in my Collection for over a decade. I love my Brother & he did me a GREAT favor, so he deserves it, but I can't help but miss the thing somewhat. This would be an awesome replacement; no it would be an AWESOME UPGRADE!

Of course, it may be well out of my price-range. As I recall, I paid about $180.00 for my Hard Hero Unicron; this is bound to be more, buy by how much?
