Yeah, the "sold out" notification popped up when I went to check out Roritchi at Pulse too. I opted to go with Dorkside Toys this time.

For the Seacons, I'm not sure. Have we seen reissues of any of the Generation Selects releases?

I ordered Fridays and some of the other Selects I wanted from Dorkside, they charge MSRP
(I don't know what there free shipping cut off is, but I was right at $100 and qualified.)

This was my first order from them, so not endorsing them by any means yet!

There are extensive differences between the Hasbro and Takara versions of both Metroplex and Fort Max.

Black Roritchi pre-ordered at bbts, hope it doesn\'t suffer from gold plastic syndrome.

Plus Hasbro has two versions of each, retail and SDCC, that are notably different. Grand Maximus is just the most notably different. Unite Warriors Devastator is also a lot different than Hasbro's Titan class version which again also had a SDCC version if we are counting all Titans.

honestly that popped into my mind when I read the Pulse description and it literally promotes the fact that he 'breaks apart'!:)

That's right! I forgot about the SDCC versions. And the Devastator differences are the reason I went with the Takara version of that Titan!

I'm glad i ended up skipping this so those that really wanted it got a chance. Not a fan of Japanese G1 so I'll stick with Fasttrack as my only version of this mold. Can't wait for Lifeline and Ratchet tho.

Now that I think about it didn't Metroplex have 4 versions? There was Hasbro retail, Takara, SDCC, and a Hasbro Asia version with different color mini figures that had a different Thrilling 30 number. I don't know if I would really count the last though as I think its only difference from SDCC is the mini figures.

    Runabout.

Or likely Over-Run as he’s called now.

A quick warning to anyone wanting to seek out an original Black Zarak: there is only heartache to be had as he suffers quite a bit from Gold Plastic Syndrome.

This is why an LG-EX Black Zarak is actually NEEDED. Moreso than most other repaints.

I got my pre-order in for Black Roritchi with BBTS. Anything Japanese G1 is an instant buy for me.

I would love a Black Zarak. If Hasbro doesn't make one hopefully TakaraTomy will.

Same here. That gold and purple just pops. It’ll be nice to have a version of him that won’t crumble to dust if I breathe on him wrong.

I’m a Masterforce fan, so I’m getting this and any other JG1 homages they do in Selects (Masterforce Cog when?).
