So if G2 Megs isn't a Transformers Tuesdays reveal do we have any idea who it could be alongside Roritchi and Ratchet?

 

I can't wait to get a G2 Megatron. I Hope some day we get to see him in animated from.
When i think of G2 Sandstorm. I Think of Machine Wars. Not a Jet.

 

So G2 Megatron got revealed on a Friday, and Ratchet is rumored to not even be a Selects figure at all. Which characters would you guys want to see on Tuesday instead?

 

With Sandstorm not due until February, I imagine Thrust will actually be out first.

 

Pretty sure we know Ratchet is Selects from computer listings... and we know that one of them is the Gold Fasttrack (rotichi or whatevs the spelling is).... I guess with the Megs/Sandstorm reveal, that leaves us with one open slot we don’t know?

Detritus still seems like particularly low-hanging fruit both as a repaint and an addition to the Mercenaries.

 

Well, we do know two of the remaining three still since Roritichi and Ratchet were revealed in listings (the cool kids have also been passing around pics of Roritichi as well). So that just leaves one unknown reveal since G2 Megs got revealed in this different fashion. I would say possible suspects based on released or soon to be released molds are:

• Detritus from Hounds
• Cordon from Sunstreaker
• Spinout from Sunstreaker
• Slice from Wheeljack
• Clamp Down from Red Alert
• Tow-Line from Hoist
• G2 Blackout from Starscream
• Sunstorm from Starscream
• Redwing from Starscream (Earth mode this time)
• Acid Storm from Starscream (based more on his Universe 2.0 deco preferably)
• Tap-Out from Cliffjumper
• Glyph from Bumblebee
• Moonracer or any other female Transformer with a Cybertonian car mode from Chromia or Arcee
• Stalker from Doubledealer

There's really a lot of stuff that they could reveal considering what they have to work with and the fact that they've already proven Selects is willing to do some seriously obscure characters within the franchise.

 

G2 Sandstorm is cool. But I'd be more interested if it were g2 Starscream and Ramjet.. Modern versions of releases we actually got

 

yeah, I would have preferred a molded piece rather than just paint...

 

Any of these would be relevant to my interests, plus Black Ironhide, blue Bluestreak, blue or yellow Trailbreaker, Lift Ticket from Hoist, Crasher or Red Mirage, G2 Starscream or Ramjet...

 

I didn't even grow up with G2 but I can't help but feel nostalgic and want these for some reason.

 

I thought I'd outgrown the franchise so missed generation 2 but some of these look cool

 

Pointblank or Sureshot. I honestly don't care what molds they use, I just need Crosshair's buddies in official form....

Other than that, something from the Doubledealer mold, preferably Stalker or Red Alert.

 

I still want Drift/Deadlock from the Springer mold.

 

This seems like such a great idea I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't done it yet. They obviously know about Guido Guidi's work since that inspired the WFC take on Barricade.

 

I'm not even going to bother with the retail version, I'll just pre-order the G2 version.

 

You know what blew me away most? How the Spear can be hooked onto one of his back treads and go over his shoulder in an original g2 megatron way! That sold it to me double.

 

I'd love for a movie styled drift from Springer and IDW from P/CP. Just can't see IDW drift in the Springer body, and Drift is one of the few new things from IDW I enjoy

 

They also used his Springer Drift/Deadlock design as a basis for his first body in Cyberverse

 

The Deadlock version right?

 

Glad I could get in a pre-order at Dorkside for Sandstorm. Would have been upset if I missed another "blink and you'll miss it" pre-orders. He will be my first Earthrise Seeker; after what they did with them in Siege, I figured I'd wait to buy them until they started busting out some crazy versions, and here. we. go!
