My guess is they’re gonna save the Fallen for SDCC, that is if Hasbro doesn’t pull out of it at the last minute. Figure he’ll probably get revealed with the rumored ‘86 voyager Ironhide and Deluxe Crosshairs and Hot Rod from AOE and TLK respectively.

That does leave the question of what’s in store for reveals later this year or if there’ll be a drought again. To me it seems like it’ll depend on when Hasbro is aiming to release ROTB figures, and if they’ll be the first wave of the year, slated for April but released around February. But looking at their own estimated dates, I can see the Crosshairs, Hot Rod, and Ironhide being the “winter” wave.

But those are wave 4… why would they wait to reveal a wave 3 figure with wave 4?

Things are subject to change, as we saw with the last wave of Kingdom. And that really means nothing. ‘86 Sweep got revealed with Coronation Starscream and Deluxe Perceptor, and the former was wave 4 of 2021 and the latter 2 wave 1 of 2022. The reveal schedule makes no sense. The figure will probably leak before it’s reveal anyways so it being revealed with a “different” wave isn’t too far fetched.

I will say I think it's kinda cool they've now used the same mold for all three of his modern forms in the original trilogy and just remolded the car parts, which fictionally would of course be how it would be done...

Officially killed any idea I had of getting any more than the core 3 seekers and Shockwave whenever they do him. My Decepticons are either gonna be outnumbered or the bulk of their forces are just off screen. ;)

Reminds me a bit of Arcee from the Terminator crossover comic.

Interesting, have to see how different it is from that mold. I still have the thrilling 30s sealed.

Well, they haven't announced a new SG figure yet this month. So there's always announcing SG Blaster officially.

Hasbro did set up a premise of "1 SG figure per month" in the product page for Magnus, and today is their last opportunity for the month of May...

With LEGO Optimus going up for PO tomorrow, I could see today being about raising awareness and helping people remember to pick one up tomorrow.

Not sure if Pulse would get any, but that'd be nice.

Well a lot of those were AR-15/M-16/M-5 Carbine-ish affairs too, it was the starring machine gun format of the 80s.
It'd make sense that the Joe 'toon "Laser Rifles" would follow the format with plausible deniability tweaks like a lateral magazine, and techno greebling to avoid the censorship restrictions.

I never felt that the GI Joe rifle looked like an AR-15/M-16/M-5 except they both have a grip, stock and barrel.

I mean.. yes? The cartoon has a shorter, taller stock, no magazing, taller, flatter grip, no handle on top, no sling mounts. Sure its unmistakable as A rifle but not the one you showed
