That's because I'm on spring break, they'll probably slow down after this week.

And yet another Starf is at the start of a TFW Funny...which is always a good sign:thumbs2:

I like the story so far, pics are a bit dark in a few fight scenes, but I can make out what's generally going on. I'm just curious, though, will Lugnut use the P.O.K.E.?

I don't have the best lighting sometimes. As for the P.O.K.E., I hadn't thought of that, maybe he will.

I have the next update done, but I didn't like some of the effects, so I have to go back and fix them. But for now here's a preview(sorta) of the next update.

    Pretty cool comic so far.

Really... just what's with the Shinkis starring in funnies alongside Transformers? For that matter, just what is a Shinki anyways?

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/toyark/143503-show-off-your-busou-shinkis-thread.html

A Shinki is, in short, a very expensive but highly articulated Japanese figurine that are usually around the size of a Deluxe class TF, like Ani. Bumblebee. From what can be gathered, they fill the role of the main female due to their being an epic-sized hole in the presence of Female TF figures. It's also theorized that because another TFW2005 user, Dilazirk, made a short side comic staring his Shinki, Mao Chao, and the sheer popularity over her exposure to the TF fandom caused the creation of the Busou Shinki cult thread, link above, and eventually the creation of a dedicated forum site all about the addictive little figures. I myself have two.

    Ah, I see...

Just how expensive are they? Not that I'm going to start collecting them or anything, but just out of curiosity how much a typical Shinki fig would cost.

Wel, so far I've bought two for around $50 avg. including shipping off of Hobby Link Japan, which short of eBay is the best place I know of to get good deals on the wallet-killing female robots.

However, a new sub type of Shinki started up not too long ago, called "Light Armors". They don't have as much stuff as normal release shinki, but as a trade off for less stuff, they are moderately cheaper than their regular counterparts (I'm guessing $35 shipped from HLJ, haven't bought any yet).

A side note I should add is about the Starf that Optimus2Primus9 uses. While Starf was one of the first two Shinki created, the Devil type to go with the other first Shinki, Arnval the Angel Type, I'm guessing the one O2P9 uses is the upgraded re-release version, Starf bis, as the box Blits tosses says. Starf bis has extra goodies along with improving the quality of the base figure itself (as if Shinki weren't already high quality), compared to the original Starf, who lacks the alt. head and hair options along with not having a big f'ing hammer.
