Fate of the furious is a shit movie with shitty music       

 

After watching the newly released Star Wars Last Jedi clip, TLK blows it out of the water. I'm not really a fan of Bay, but it looks like TLK is going to be a fragging Masterpiece compared to the Last Jedi.


I think we can safely say that 2017 is the year of good guys gone bad.....albeit temporarily.

 

Yeah, both TLK and THOR are kinda kicking its ass in terms of the views of uploads from their main YouTube channels surprisingly. Then again, TLJ could come out of nowhere and zoom past both of them in the next 24 hours or so.

EDIT: TLJ now at 13 million, ahead of TLK which now has 5 million. If it gets better (for SW) in the next 24 hours, it might knock Thor off the top spot altogether!

2017 - Good Guys Gone Bad (Not the sequel to Rihanna's 2007 smash hit album).

 

That was my initial reaction, too, until I remembered that I wasn't impressed by Force's teaser either. Later trailers will probably blow us out of the water lol

 

To be fair it's a Teaser. Although I'm still more excited about Transformers than Justice League, Star Wars, and MCU's Films.

 

I saw the trailer earlier when I went to see fate of the furious and it was so amazing in Imax. The person next to me was a tf fan and hadn't seen the trailer yet and had a nerdgasm  

 

One little mistake though, they're not russian warriors, they're bulgarian.

 

How in the hell does Cybertron actually gonna use Earth's resources? Is it that Earth that's gonna get cyber-formed or it getting organic? Those tenticles that come down from the sky like roots appear to be digging up parts of the Earth but all that looks like a giant mess to me, what in the hell is going on? Well we'll know for sure when we watch the movie but still what do you think?

 

5 millions views for TLK on its main channel is not something I could call "kicking ass" when Thor has 28 millions. But youtube is not the only platform. TLK is doing better on facebook (TLK's 280k likes, 22k cmt & 244k shares vs Thor's 161k likes, 25k cmt & 171k shares. TLK has less cmt probably due to having smaller fanbase but it sure has more casual viewers)
Star Wars is going to trump both though.
And trailer views is not a measures for box office anyway.

 

But just because Im focusing on YouTube hits doesn't mean I'm discounting hits from Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I've never said or discounted anything about those other social media platforms ever. Plus, I've never said anything about views determining box office so you have no right to speak for me on that part.

BTW: Saying Star Wars has a smaller fan base compared to whatever is INSANE. You'd have to be CRAZY to think that.

TFs's fan base may be smaller compared to SW which is a behemoth, but at least like SW and Marvel and DC, TFs is very dedicated.

 

In the trailer I had thought Vivian was grabbing for some pipe or hanging from a helicopter or something lol. But I just noticed she's grabbing for Melin's staff.

Yeah I know, I took a screenshot of it and I even noticed that it was glowing with energy, much like Cade's sword did when it made contact with what might be Optimus' sword.

 

Well I had a dream last night that Optimus snapped out of his evil mode and Quintessa showed up and said "As soon as Megatron turns on the Omega lock" then I woke up.

Dam this film has all sorts of ideas going through my head.

 

Caught it, too! In Arthurian legends Vivien was an apprentice/love interest of Merlin. It is also one of the names of the Lady of the Lake (Nimue's the more popular one). Could she be Merlin's descendant? Perhaps she awakens Dragonstorm and summons him into the battle?

 

I like the Satellite being obscured by Cybertron ... was that the JPL?

 

So if Vivian ends up being a direct descendent of Merlin, I'm guessing Cade may be the direct descendent of Arthur.
Perhaps Hopkins' character is a descendent of one of the Knights, and the Witwickys descendents of Lancelot?
