    Not worried bout the Thor trailer but the Last Jedi will definitely overshadow it. Star Wars celebration starts on Thursday so that's the earliest that trailer would premiere but it could premiere on Saturday like Justice League did. At least TLK will get Wednesday to itself and it may have a couple more days also.

    In hindsight, they probably should've just released it last week when they had the IMAX event and all the other stuff popped up online.

    Studios do. And It's not about "views", its about the buzz it generates. And other movies overshowing it is certainly something Paramount doesnt want.

    Maybe they should just release the trailer tomorrow. Give it more space between Jedi's trailer debut. The Thor trailer is no competition for TLK.

    OK well if any studio thinks they're going to top the views of Star Wars then they're insane.

    EDIT: the movie "It" shattered the all-time trailer views record recently (first 24 hours). There's no chance that movie finishes with a box office comparable to summer tentpoles. Trailer views mean squat.

    On Twitter I've seen some people say Thursday/Friday. Some seem to think it'll be Wednesday. Weird! I guess nobody truly knows lol

    Seeing there is a SW convention this Thursday-Friday, thats when the trailer is expected to drop if not early.

    There wasn't any Slug in the UK presentation we saw but there apparently was at the event before CinemaCon or at the CinemaCon presentation itself.
