term noob doesnt do anything to me i may be new to this forum but im not new to forums in the slightest, but the term noob to me is a troll term and ive seen it raise the ire of more than one forum member. People like to use it to degrade people just coming into an environment from what ive observed this usually just leads to the loss of a member or worse, a conflict which could lead to all kinds of things... so i tend to stay away from the term noob, when used to refer to me or used to refer to someone else...im in no way saying that your use of the word noob was intended with this same purpose.

I understand what you mean, as I think that was the intention as well. Dont worry though Jinrai, your opinion is equally as valid as mine or anyone elses regardless of how often you post.

As long as it's not the People's Elbow.

If there's one thing that videogames have taught me, it's that the People's Elbow is the single most powerful move in the entire world. It will do tremendous damage to every body part.

On to the topic. Peter Cullen has met Bay and says he believes that he can do this. That should be pretty good for most of you.

And if you don't believe me.

In all fairness, Bay gave him the job and is now his boss, of course he's going to say that.

I know everyone and there mother has had their say on these designes, but I just can hold my self back form giving my two cents.....
These designs are different, they are SORT OF fresh, and they get the job done.
However, they do no live up to the promises that were given so far.
I've been to every board I can think of about this movie from the writers to bay's to spielburg interviews to murphys board.... they all resonated with one voice that is was to be G1 and G1 only. It is on this promise that I feel the designs fail. These are G1 names on completly new concepts, that happend for Armada, Cybertron, and even RID and Beast Wars to an extent. In other words, this is a spinoff, this is NOT G1.
That is what kept the fans hoping, and now we dont have that hope any more.
And I'm sorry, but stop robbing designs from the Preditor. I could say more but I cant waste energy on the rant.

    That is all for now.

Okay, this is my first post on the TFW boards, but to be quite frank, I like the look of all of these designs on their own merits, Including the "Starscream". That said, with that head, the design does not scream Starscream to me, not least due to the head, but who knows, depending on the final color scheme, it could surprise us all. I do wonder though if they might make the cannon-claws removable to be replaced with more normal hands.

Not too fond of Starscream so far. Looks kinda like a weird space alien ape. Need to see what his alt mode looks like.

That's not Starscream, it's the toy of the movie Starscream. There is a difference. The Incinerator toy looks different in a lot of areas when compared to the actual movie design.

So yes, SS will not like the cartoon but also not as the ugly toy monkey (which is just a toy interpretation of the yet to be seen movie design limited to toy tecnology).

Now this is what Transformers of this day should look like!
I hope this inspires Hasbro for future Transformers projects

Yeah, word. That's part of what I found amusing. I guess the funny for me was that it sounded like most people were tapping their feet, waiting expectedly to see how Hasbro was actually going to make every little panel shift exactly like the 3D models. Meanwhile, Hasbro's all like, "Hey, here's Transformers similar to the way we usually make them," and the fanboys were all like, "Damn, we have been pwn3d."

...or something. GET IT? THEREIN LIES TEH FUNNEY!

To all the whining complainers.........shhhhhhh! (pretty harsh huh?)
We're getting a LIVE ACTION TRANSFORMERS MOVIE!!!
You obviously don't understand the awsomeness involved in just that statement.
Are you really going to quibble over bot design.
It's already been stated by the powers involved "Same characters, different clothes" or something to that effect.

Starscream always has been my favorite, no matter in which Transformers series, even though he sometimes looked like... crap...
But this toy of SS looks terrifying and horrible! He looks like a gorilla escaped from New York Zoo and run over several times by a train and a wheelchair!

    *whine whine*
Surely hope this isn't his true design in the Movie.

For me, we're getting BIONICLE, THE MOVIE. So, no, I'm not happy, since "just because" is not a real reason.
