http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418279/ Yeah, it's listed at IMDB. Probably has been for a while. I just find it funny that this new 2007 live action has the same (working) title as the 1985 animated original. SB
Yup, been up there for about two years. And they still didn't add all those names confirmed by Ian Bryce. Wonder how long until someone gives it a butchered "Japanese" title, such as "Turansfômâ zha rîru raifu mûbî".
all that stuff is just added by anyone who registers i think, which means we should send stuff in saying the new movie is called "transformers, the quest for peace"....i was hoping for something funny, but my brain isnt working right now....
IMDB is a fine resource for aleady released a completed films, but its user-adminstrated nature means old, incorrect, and false info runs rampant.
IMDb is user-submitted, not user-administrated. I met a guy at the San Diego Comic-Con a few years ago who worked for IMDb as a content editor (and didn't get paid very well for it either). He told me editing for IMDb was extremely tedious, but that he always at least made an attempt to verify info submitted by users, and there was always a huge backlog of them to process. He added that because of his involvement at the Con, he was about 2 weeks behind his "quota." (That would explain why they frequently have errors and false info -- because other editors just don't care apparently, and are just trying to make a "quota" to get their little stipend.) About a month prior to that, some jerk had submitted to IMDb that Gregg Berger (voice of Grimlock) had died, and when I saw Gregg at the con he was very much alive. Gregg told me he thought the prank was rather amusing. He signed one of my G1 Marvel comics and it seems like he wrote "ME GRIMLOCK LIVE!" on it. Well, what'd you expect them to call it: Transformers: The Non-Traditional Animated Live-Action Movie? It's always irritated me that when comics/cartoons/TV shows crossover to the big screen, "The Movie" always gets tacked onto the title. But it's a standard marketing/promotional gimmick to create interest based on an existing property. Not much fans can do about it. I'm still waiting for some studio to make a movie called "Movie: The Movie".
I remember they had Peter Cullen and Frank Welker listed as voice actors for the 2007 film for a while. How's that for accurate?
