I'm a Blu Ray/4k/etc collector, and have bought a lot of Shout/Scream Factory exclusives over the years. It's not unusual for them to sell quickly, but selling out in a single day is a very strong showing for Transformers! That's great! I haven't seen anywhere that they've specifically stated the print run for the steel and litho, so I won't be surprised if they offer more for sale, at least the steelbook, if not the litho. I recall when the Friday the 13th set sold out so quickly, they bumped up the numbers on the print run for the litho/poster, wouldn't be surprised if it happens here as well. But I'm glad I got my order in, just in case they don't reprint.

So the Amazon listing says still book and so does the Shout. Is the only difference is Shout gets the litho with it?

Sad I missed out on the litho. Would look nice next to the one I got for the other blu-ray release for attending in theater.

As I understand it the Lithograph is exclusive to Shout! Factory. The Amazon link makes no mention of it.

So disappointed on how hasbro limit the quantity of first wave of “exclusive” version.
Lithograph in shout! version, $100 discount on auto-converting OP, …..

    Boo!

IMO, it's a waste right now. The amount of 8K content is miniscule. Not to mention that the biggest upgrade in most 4K sets is HDR. That's immediately noticeable compared to the increase in resolution from 1080p to 4K.

We're not going to see quality 8K on the PS5. IMO, it's more important to get 4K with 60fps and decent textures.

Steelbook is back in stock at Shout, but the litho is indeed sold out.

I can’t wait to put that lithograph in a bin along with the lenticular card from the 25th DVD and the animation cels from the Rhino DVDs

Kidding aside, I do enjoy having the little bonuses. Someday I will figure out what to do with them.

I'm so glad it's back up. Not getting the litho sucks, but I still wanted the steelbook more.

I tend to accumulate a lot of posters and lithographs from ordering at Scream Factory and their ilk. I just leave them in their tubes in my storage room for a couple of years, and then throw them on eBay once they've gotten pricier. They're a nice bonus when you order, but there have been very few of them that I'd actually want to display, so I'll take the free money. The only freebie like that which I regret selling was the flimsy cardboard nurse hat that came with Halloween II, which was Scream's first release. It was a shoddy piece of crap, but now it's very hard to find, and I kinda miss it.

this movie has had to have made Hasbro a lot of money by now, right ? WIsh they would do a directors cut and add like 20 or more minutes of new animation covering up dropped storylines ( blaster fighting on earth ) a combiner battle at the ark with Omega ect ect. If they did , you know g1 fans would go nuts buying the crap out of it all over again .

Great stuff. Definitely a fan of your approach to draw the characters "on model" to the show but instead of colouring them cel shaded style, using more of a painted style to evoke that "movie poster" look :thumbs2:

I don't suppose you have any info or are able to say when the UK preorders will go up/ release date? :D

Did they at least remaster the sound? Thats the one thing that REALLY needs to be updated as it sound so...tiny. To hear that score as it sounds or just close to as it sounds on the released soundtracks would be sweet as hell. It def works the sub woofers.

None of that was in the original scripts. That’s all stuff added for the comics. If they animated it now, it’d look out of place, plus the idea is to squeeze every penny out of the fandom, not incur additional expenses.

I hope it'll be offered as a digital download too. I have a Blu-Ray drive in an older computer only.
