I'm just sayin'. TFRaw has had a set up for nearly three years now, and I've had mine for 18 months. They ain't the exclusive selling point for a home release that they used to be.

 

I'll probably wait to order till it goes up on amazon, nearly $40 shipped is a bit too pricey for me

 

I know it’s better to get it on disc but I’m hoping they eventually have a digital release.

Edit: nvm, you said shipped. I don't think that is bad considering it is a 4K, dont most 4K movies go for around 30-40?

I bought this on ITunes a while back and it is in HD. Apple usually does the 4K version for free once it is available, so I guess I'll just sit this one out. Done collecting physical media.

 

At least they got an actual good artist on the cover this time around.

Dang, only the widescreen version is in 4K and I prefer to watch the fullscreen version. I guess I'll pass on this release for now.

 

Well you need a 4k player and a 4k tv to see 4k. You'll have to use the basic bluray otherwise.

You can always use the zoom function and make it full screen. That is all full screen is anyway

 

I can\'t wait to get a copy. The need to do a thing showing how all the Transformers were killed in the city. If Shout is doing Transformers dvds again. Then it\'s time to get Transformers 2001 & 2015 Robots in Disguise & Rescue Bots All out on Complete series dvd.

 

Awesome. I'm a little bit disappointed there's no 4K transfer for the full screen version, seeing as I thought one was made five years ago when they did the last remaster. However this could mean the 16:9 version really is an all new remaster and not reusing the previous one. Either way I'm still really looking forward to seeing this in 4K.

I've updated the first post with disc features and release date. I've messaged Shout Factory on twitter as well to confirm whether it will have HDR10/ Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

 

Apparently now. I tried and it wouldn't let me because of insufficient funds. It's nice they want to charge you off the bat for something that will not ship for over 2 months from now.
