    They literally share no parts.

    Anyway, does anyone know if the Hasbro rep mentioned if Perceptor's lens will actually work, like the original toy?

    Anybody else had their fingers as crossed as can be for a Magnificus? I mean a new head and repaint and you're basically done

    Unless of course they would want to include a G.I. Joe Classified Ga'Mede. A man can dream, can't he?

    guys when 2 figures look similar it doesn’t mean they’re a retool because the only reason they look similar is cause they’re literally based off the same character. Yes, the legs, the arms, and the torso are in the same place, but that’s literally because that’s how the character is supposed to be.

    It’s like saying almost every grimlock toys are garbage retools because their robot hands transform into their Dino feet

    edit: I just realized how long ago the post I was responding to was ;-;

    I am. I scheduled the day off. Curious to see the turnout. In 2018 it was a pretty large crowd. Busiest Fathom event I went to recently was for Labyrinth, maybe twenty people in the whole theater..

    Going to the 12 noon showing in less than two hours here in the SF Bay area. Wonder if we will get a poster or some other giveaway?

    Hey, we went to that one too! Labyrinth was my wife's thing and this one was mine.

    We just came out of our showing, we got nothing.

    Just left the theater, but wound up showing up late. Did they show any "exclusive content" before the movie actually started? I remember the original announcement mentioning something.

    There were three stop-motion things, I think. The one with Scourge and the Sweeps was the last one. There was one with Jazz where he's filming his movie scene in front of a green screen and talks the director out of killing him off by playing "The Touch." The second one was... ummm...

    Oh, I remember. Hot Rod and Galvatron are filming their climatic fight scene and Hot Rod drops the Matrix and it breaks. He claims it was slippery from Galvatron's sweaty hands.

    Jazz not dying was so ironic given that Scatman Crothers passed away around the time of the film's release. One of the few major Season 1 characters to make it.

    edit: I am going to the Tuesday (currently at work) screening (likely at 7). Though glad to hear about the extra content. Though I would have loved some intro from Ben Mankiewicz trying to make it sound like the greatest animated film since Snow White or something.
