Was that the Fort Wayne, Indiana Botcon? I went to that if it was. Good time, seeing the folks in costumes at the theater was funny. I was told it was an original theater projection film copy that they had shown. It was my first Botcon.

Maybe they wanted to get wave 4 over with because of the recent leaks.

I remember watching Transformers the Movie the first week it came out at the theater, then again a couple months later at the 99 cent movie theater I liked it so much.

yeah, I doubt they announce a new Haslab until Galactus finishes. They know a lot of us like both properties and they don’t want to compete with themselves at the same time.

I did have fun watching the 86 movie in theaters back in 2018. I might go for this one, let’s just see how things look pandemic wise at the end of September.

Yes indeed that was Ft. Wayne in 2000. The experience with the fans was great, I just don't remember the movie presentation itself being anything spectacular. I'd love to see it in 4K on the BIG SCREEN if the fathom events doesn't get sidelined by another wave of COVID.

That was my 2nd Botcon, and the only time I traveled East to go to one. All the others (98, 04, 11, and 13) I attended were in CA.

Went when they screened it back in 2018. Definitely fun, there are all kinds of little details that pop out at you when you see the Shout restoration on the big screen. The Unicron flyby at the start is especially impressive.

I haven't seen it in the theater since I was a child in the 80s. All three of my kids have seen it at home already but I'd love for us all go watch it on the big screen. I'm in.

Lucky! The local Cinemark had a retro showing a few years ago. Of course I find out after the fact. Smh.
