    Fan First Fridays haven't had tons of reveals lately, so I'm expecting Haslab Star Saber or Kingdom Wave 4 and that's it. (Or maybe it'll just be Road Rage :p )

    I saw this at the last Fathom event and while it was a good time the quality of the film presented had serious issues. If they have restored the film I would go again, if not it's an easy pass.

    Yeah, I felt the same thing. It just looked like a crappy dvd projected on the big screen.

    The new physical release is supposed to be 4K, maybe that could make things different? I'm not sure I would pay to find out though.

    Awesome! I missed out on the Fathom events screening 3 years ago due to it being bad timinmg. I definitley dont want to miss this one!

    I\'ve seen TF:TM theatrically:

    1. Originally in August 1986
    2. at SDCC in 1996
    3, at Botcon in 2000 (althogh I\'m pretty sure this was a projection of a DVD and not a film print)

    My kids (now 15 and 16) have never seen it in the theater, though they have suffered through it a few dozen times with dad ;) . I\'d love to be able to take them if everything works out.

    Not sure how well this will go down.  They are talking about lock downs again and mandatory mask wearing indoors for everyone.  Even though it will be shown in Sept., we are already almost in August.

    Why would I want to attend? I have a 4k screen, Bowers & Wilkins Atmos sound system, and a traeger grill to make steaks to eat while I watch the movie. Everything about this “event” seems like a bad idea.
