This is really cool. I'd love to have it as a collector, but I'm sure there's someone out there that this would mean the world to. I hope whoever wins this really treasures it.

anyone who's more knowledgable of copyright/licensing laws etc...
what would stop the potential buyer from scanning this and releasing it as a book? could it be a possibility?

i'd personally love this, but a copy in the form of a coffee table book would be pretty cool too.

 

 

You'd probably have to get a whole bunch of permissions from the entities who own the rights to the film, Transformers, and who did the art.

It would be great to see a study somewhere of them, key moments, differences from what made it on film, etc.

 

This would be great to have as a piece of memorabilia, especially for dyed-in-the-wool G1 fans. I know there were a fair couple of cut scenes from the final product.

Makes you hope Hasbro would release something that collected art and storyboards from the movie...but I don't think they've revealed everything they're doing for TFTM's big 30th, yet!

This is an amazing piece and another example of the incredible materials that some fans have in their collections. Spacebridge has always had incredible pieces, and now someone else has a chance to own a piece of star history.

This would be great to own. I expect it will reach very high figures before all is said and done! Anyone care to make predictions on the final price? Higher or lower than the G2 menasor auction from a few years back?

 

So what do you guys think the final bid will be? I'm betting on about $11,000
