    I don't know why Optimus specifying they're "from America" is so goddamn funny to me, but between that panel and Trailbreaker's cool sunglasses design, I am so stoked to read this.

    Also, thank you to whoever figured out they were taking pre-orders for the second volume - I didn't even know that existed but I'm glad to know I'm getting both of them now!

    Curious how much of the manga it's going to have....

    Hoping they can wrap up the 2002 manga Collection in 2 volumes. My binding on the book is falling apart....

    It'd be amazing that if these two volumes are big hits we could see more TF manga that came out after the G1 manga coming here to the USA such as the BW manga which I wouldn't be that opposed to or even Transformers Animated the Cool.

    I just noticed that Amazon has a listing for volume 3 of this. I don't know how to add links over my phone though... release date is currently listed as October 13

    G1 through The Headmasters are in-coninuity with the show, yes; "Fight! Super Robot Lifeform" takes place after the end of Season 2 and is largely dedicated to combiner stories and setup for "Scramble City," while the others take place between episodes of their respective series. "Masterforce" and "Victory" are alternate tellings ("Victory" in particular is VERY different from the show); the "Zone" manga is functionally just an adaptation of the manga (or maybe the other way around).
