    The art is so great!

I mean you put this next to Marvel stuff at same time and there is no comparison.

Got mine today. It’s really well put together! A high quality little book with a bonus art gallery. The manga-style artwork is phenomenal!

Even as a kid, I knew of Marvel UK, but I had no idea this even existed until recently. My thanks to Viz Media for translating and publishing this gem.

I agree with you. Bought it sight unseen and enjoying reading it tonight. Glad I got the next two pre-ordered now. Plus it is a nice surprise to see it in hardcover rather than the normal manga softcover.

Still waiting for mine!  It can then go next to the original Japanese version.

Mine arrived. Going to take a read on the commute. Kinda cool - I have zero knowledge or expectations.

I have no idea! I was ok with the first one and then it happened again and I was like, what!? I ordered both books late last year. I kept these pre orders still but cancelled my order for vol 2 for now. I instead purchased the Transformers vs GI Joe vol 1-3 cross over.

Holy crap, this book is gorgeous! Unreal!

Above and beyond what they needed to do with the colored pages!

The only thing I noticed were two missing pinups (someone correct me if they are included) but they made up for it by including so much more than the Japanese manga collection/omnibus

    Just the upper one here

Alright, so, straight up I wasn't expecting this to be hardcover :lol

I took a quick thumb through it last night and absolutely loved it! The art is gorgeous, it's got the right touch of 80s anime/manga silliness (all the four-wheeled Autobots being on a team and having a special attack? yes, perfect) and I love what a weird little sidebar it is for G1 continuity, Japan or otherwise. Can't wait to take a second this week to actually sit down and read it.

I'm use to it from reading manga for years, but I can understand how some won't like it.
    Gorgeous book tho.

If this had been published in the states 30-odd years ago, they probably would have flipped the images so that it would read left-to-right as is standard in the West, but trends change, and it seems that modern readers of Japanese manga (even in the West) prefer to keep the orientation as it was originally (I don't say "backwards," since after all right-to-left is "forwards" to them), so as to preserve the original intention as much as possible. Can't say I blame them, but it's of little difference to me one way or the other.
