I love everything about this figure except how the helment becames this weird sort of beard. I love his head from the AOE deluxe so I'll have to fix this somehow.

I also feel like mentioning that when AOE came out Scorn was the most scientifically accurate of the Dinobots. However, months later a discovery was made that indicated that the postion of the legs where slightly off, and that Spinosaurs where very much aquatic. Scorn is Paddles confirmed.

I love how all the Dinobots/Knights are of muted colors, and then Scorn comes outta nowhere with that red color scheme. You go you, you independent spinosaur

And that's why I'll never like dinosaurs. "Oh hey, this one looks really cool! I like it!" "Hey turns out it was aquatic!" "..."

It's going to be a long wait waiting for Scorn. Still love how very movie accurate he is. :D  It makes me wish we can have a new mold for Grimlock that's also more movie accurate.

I think they did that so fans who collected the AOE figures can get a bigger Scorn figure that goes with those guys. I'm sure he will get a muted repaint at some point.

I wonder if there will be repaints with this figure. I'd like a Black Knight repaint of this guys.

It'll be an even longer wait for the likely OS KO. I've already got a KO from the first movie I LOVE bigger than this guy, so I may pass on this (but he does look awfully tempting in that package). But I don't have a KO as big as I'd like (to go with my OS Grimlock). If that happens he'll be a must buy. Scorn is my favorite of the movie dinobots.

That looks like a cropped Hasbro stock photo.

Funny thing about that it's that Scorn in the movies if you look carefully is actually very much red in some shots so this is pretty accurate to how he's colored.

Yeah I can see how in some scenes he looked like that. It's likely the red rust all over him gave that illusion.

He's more of a burgundy color as you can see here:

You can see more of the color they were going for in his concept art:

Scorn is definitely red, but he just needs more metal dust around all the body instead o being fully red.

Yay! He's the figure I'm most excited about, along with Megatron. He looks magnificent. Shame he couldn't be a leader.

According to unicorn.com, the Hasbro rep says they had access to the cgi models. I really wish all four got the same treatment, in voyager or leader class.

why is that a problem? Dinosaurs weren't fictional creatures, we're discovering more about them every year. They don't abide by the rule of cool. Can you imagine a palaeontologist saying "this dinosaur looks cool enough, no need to research it any further"?
