My last thread about this was closed due to the misunderstanding that both threads (mine and another) have the same trailer, yet they had different concepts as mine was about analysis and commentary while the other showed the trailer and nothing more.

Here it is. Finally, the Transformers 5 trailer. Shit's going down! Check it out and give your thoughts, opinions, and speculation.

I think I'm gonna cry if they kill off Bumblebee. I still remember when I cried in the first movie when I thought Bumblebee was gonna die.

To start off, I think that giant planet thing is... UNICRON! I also think that three headed dragon is Predaking or a Predacon. Optimus might be controlled by Unicron or the creators. It's known in the trailer that Cybertronians have triggered past events. Megatron in this movie is not the main villain, rather it is Optimus. Some part of me thinks he becomes Nemesis Prime, because one of Dingocriky's TF5 theory video.

Here's what I thought, now express yourself.  

 

What I found interesting was in one scene we see Optimus presumably dead, but then later on we see him beating up Bumblebee.

I also got the vibe from the trailer that Mark Whalberg'a character has kinda gone rogue and is hunting cybertronians, and I think I actually saw Josh Duhmael's character (Lt. Williams in the trailer).

 

Maybe Unicron or the creators found him and made him into Nemesis Prime.

 

That would be definitely be cool to see.

 

Assuming those scenes are chronological.

 

I just looked it up and Josh Duhmael is indeed back for this movie. I'm glad because his character and Mark Whalberg's are my favorite humans in the movies.

 

I definitely missed Josh Duhmael's character.

 

This reaction here is something I haven't seen in a while, see how the little ones react to Bumblebee being stabbed.

I cried towards the end of the trailer. No joke.

 

Lol, I honestly didn't pay attention at all about the movie until this week. I've been too busy with them IDW comics.  

 

I went to see the premiere of the trailer. I was tired as hell but it was so worth it to me.

 

I told you Crankcase is back, just with a new alt mode.

But looking at it I have to say it looks slightly different.

 

because it´s not cranckase ... it´s hooligan, a new character who looks like the dreads but is not one of them ... at least not one of those of appeared in dotm

 

The usual type of shit, right? One character looks almost identical to another one but apperantly giving him a new name makes him a totally new character, well there are fans like me who are extremely annoyed because of it, do we humans look the same and just have different names? This confuses a lot of other fans and leads to many pointless arguments whether THIS character is really THIS or ANOTHER one, you get what I mean.

 

The Auto shop in the junkyard could be Cade's workshop. If Cade goes around helping wounded Autobots etc, etc.. Could it be possible that the two mystery heads, one looking similar in features to Ironhide and the new Hooligan character could just be inside Cade's workshop?

Might not be Hooligan at all.

 

could it be possible that the reason why all cons are based on pre-existing designs is that negatron or someone else is using parts from dead cons to build new ones !?

 

Wasn't there a Decepticon named Hooligan in concept art for tf3? Yet the toy was named Crankcase.
