Crazy question: At the 0:41 mark of the extended trailer, is Cade left arm mechanized? His shirt is cut, but the skin showing is not skin color. It's either burnt or mechanized. He doesn't appear to be wearing an undershirt.

 

There was also a snippet a few months back that said: Optimus goes to Cybertron and finds a dead planet, but discovers a way to bring it back to life.

Could that traveling planet be Cybertron? It's very possible and more than likely will be. I'm just of the impression that dead planets do not traverse across galaxies to a specific target. Nor do dead planets open up and have controlled tentacles originating from it. That planet thing we see in the clip is not dead, it's very much alive.

In my humble opinion, the only way that this is Cybertron is if it was terraformed by the Quints in some way. Perhaps infused with whatever Optimus was infused with, and with the same mission as Optimus- consuming Earth for a living core.

If that's the case, then Cybertron isn't truly dead or dying. It's living and consuming.

That's why I still question whether that planet in the clips is really Cybertron. It seems more like a Quintesson harvesting device. So for me, the jury is still out as to what the frag the thing is.

 

Could be some sort of wetsuit, since he had been in that Omega Lock, which had been underwater.

Look at the shot of the parts of the planet scraping the top of the Earth - it is f**king ENORMOUS.

in that 4th of july photo there are some of those protrusions or whatever they are that also appear on the undewater omega lock

 

Actually no that's not what that is bud. I was on that set 4 different times. Those are what's left of concrete pillars that would be inside of what's left of a parking garage or similar structure. Look at the left side of the picture. You'll see many more that still have the yellow paint stripe on them  . Something like the pic I posted. If you look at the building off to the right, this is supposed to be in Chicago and that building is supposed to be the Chicago Tribune. So what you see in the middle is probably what's left of a down town parking garage.
