I just have to have a chuckle at the Netflix show "explaining" Soundblaster looking like Soundwave when there's so many other "clones" running around as if a duplicate Soundwave is any more confusing than the others. :lol

Also, perchance Sky Lynx may have a Basics coming up due to his inclusion in WFC? :D

I did not know there was one version of the Spacebridge that was literally a bridge. But that’s what happens when I wasn’t born in the 80s. The only times I read anything related to the comics is when I read the summaries for the different stories in the comics on TFWiki. As usual, it’s another solid and informative video.

Sky Lynx is far and away one of my favorite Transformers characters because he is inherently symbolic of the goofy toyetic roots of Transformers. The toy by itself was a beautifully ridiculous hodgepodge, but Budiansky opted to go the extra mile and give him the personality of a hotshot pilot with an ego the size of the sun and the end result is beautiful. There simply isn't any other Transformer quite like him.

Sky Lynx is a unique breed of Transformer. His ego is incorrigible yet he legitimately has the skills to back it up. He is weird but amazing and there’s simply no one else like him. I shudder to think what we may have lost if they’d made him a big dumb animal based on his robot modes. Instead we got something amazing.

Just such a shame they sucked out all personality and charm from his Netflix portrayal. A character concept as inherently goofy as Sky Lynx cannot be taken seriously, and nobody wants it to be. We like that this outrageous robot dragon that can split apart has such a proper accent and inflated sense of self worth. It’s fun and interesting and amusing in ways only Transformers can pull off in earnest.

While Sky Lynx isn't one of my favorite characters, I cannot deny the appeal of him. He's got a super unique design and is full of personality.

Scourge is an interesting character for me in that you have two iterations that could not be more different, yet feel equally as valid as each other. G1 Scourge was a fairly prominent Galvatron lackey, but RID Scourge was arguably tied as the main villain of RID. (He was certainly more proactive than Megatron) Both character to me are equally deserving of the name, and I really dislike "Nemesis Prime" as a moniker for black Optimus' that aren't just mindless copies.

I also really like Cybertron Scourge as well, and his arc of learning what true strength is. It's kind of a name that you can't go wrong with.

Cybertron Scourge was the first Transformers toy I ever had, so he's always been a favorite of mine.

I never got to say this, but I enjoyed the Q&A from awhile back. I hope you do more in the future!

Also there was a question I wanted to ask, have you ever thought about doing videos on non-Takara Transformers (Deluxe Vehicles, Omega Supreme, Shockwave, etc?) It's an weird, but interesting topic. Also a video about knockoff/third-party Transformers, they aren't official, but they had an influence on the main series.

But, I just love your videos and it's nice to hear your feedback! The latest videos have been awesome!

Third Party is stuff I don't have enough personal knowledge of or investment in to cover, but I have thought about doing some kind of video to cover where all the different TF toys came from originally beyond Micro Change and Diaclone, just to have one place where all that info is consolidated!
