Supplemental product exists. They could release a gold-bordered cube product or something like the old Beta collectors edition set. Just something that allows people the ability to play with those cards.

Well, it would help for the Power 9 at least. There should still be an affordable way to get legal dual lands. Though the cost of a mana base in any format is just a flaw in the game as a whole.

Could we maybe, oh I don't know... actually talk about the topic of the thread? I mean, as entertaining as it is to watch grown men bitch and argue about Magic cards for 13 pages on a Transformers forum- oh wait no, no it's not. It's just sad, mostly >_>

Anyone know how this Metroplex mega card is going to work? Like how many stars he'll have, if he's a sort of "boss battle", how much this will cost, etc?

Are there any sleeves or card protectors for the oversized cards at all?

There are already clear sleeves that exist that mostly fit. Here.

They’re currently the best we have, though they’re like a mm or two too short. Accessory company Ultra Pro has said they’re working on sleeves.

So you are looking for clear 127mm clear sleeves. There's only one option. I can't double sleeve. Drats.

I trust the standard TF cards are standard MTG size too.

    Ordered my sleeves.
BTW if you get into double sleeving. KMC is the way to go

...we played our beta decks, arabian nights, and antiquities bare-backed, for ante, and we liked it: all you kids get off my lawn!.. ;)

...seriously though, this game looks fun and i'd like to give it a go, but if preserving the 'value' of your cards gets in the way of playing the game, you're probably doing it wrong...

its not so much preserving the value as a process that I enjoy. Don't get me wrong I plan on having fun.

I'm hoping these actually show up in my local gaming store.

I foresee 2019 before I even find a pack in store and by then will have probably ordered online at some ridiculous price to import.

My comic book store is getting a box just for me...no one else asking for it. :(
But that won't stop me from enjoying it. Will enlist my family to play.

Gee, wouldn't it be nice if the TOY this crap is based on was actually re-released at the same time? Oh well.
