Instead of gutting the bird mode, they could replace the bird head with a bat head, replace the wings with mechanical bat wings too. The MW Soundwave version could have a nice reference to Mutant Soundwave.

Yeah a Stalker/MW Soundwave retool would have a new head, probably new arms and legs but the core torso would be retained from Doubledealer.

Well, a new Sideswipe mold should be fun like the Siege mold.

 

i still say if MW soundwave from DD happens, keep the bird mode but deco it after dotm laserbeak, could work pretty well

Fair enough I suppose. I still think it being deluxe isn't far off as machine wars never received a cartoon. So the only scale you really have is toys. You could use botcon scale I suppose, but that was megastorm, not megatron

And even then, if a potential MW Megatron is gonna be a Deluxe jet (which he should be. All hail Starscream!), Megaplex is gonna be a straight repaint of him.

Because even though "More than meets the eye" part 1 had some "Cybertronian alt modes"; the animators didn't bother creating "Cybertronian BOT modes". So jazz, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, and the seekers ALL had earth-style bot modes

 

So when he plays his music he also has disco lighting!

 

It only feels like recently that G1 Jazz had next to none decent toy representation but now all he would need is a descent masterpiece toy and he would arguably have one of most tasteful toy representations of the original cast.

 

Because it was that way on screen in 1984. That’s what this figure does.

By selling incredibly fast, you mean three months? Preorder went up in July, shipping a month later in August, and stayed in stock until two weeks before Black Friday. People were pissed because they were waiting for a Black Friday sale and ended up selling out because people were willing to pay full price.

Anyway, I’ll watch this later. I was hoping someone would have the entire Q&A compiled, but I haven’t seen it yet.
