Oooh, never saw those anywhere. Will have to do some research on that as well.

Real quick question: What are the dimensions of the Combiner/Triple Changer cards, unfolded?

It's confounding me now. I can't find it anywhere. Not even sold-out sources. I wonder if I confused it with a page that could hold three 4x6 cards/photos? hmm.

Not sure about the triple changer cards, but if they are the same as the combiner cards they should be the same size as the wave 1 character cards.
I use all of the same sleeves on all of the characters.

Here's a Twitter thread where I talk about how I sleeved everything.

Same size as standard Character cards for both Combiners and Triple-changers unfolded.

Those of you playing combiner decks, are you using regular, battle card sized sleeves on your (folded) combiner character cards or over-sized sleeves? For the former, how do you handle the mechanics around combining?

I am using the oversized sleeves and I plan to cover the mode I am not using with another random card.

Then the combined mode is the same as if I did not have sleeves. I'm just OCD about protecting my cards since they are Transformers cards. I never treated my Yu-Gi-Oh cards with this much care, lol.

There are some who fold the cards and use regular battle card sized sleeves. Others use the over sized (commander sized?) toploaders and use something to cover or mark it the side not used. There is a actual top loader with a slider built in that lets you conveniently slide to what mode you're on on Etsy (and possibly elsewhere too).

Do those Etsy Toploaders have a layer covering the card when the slider is not over that side?

I looked into getting some of these for myself, but on cost, it would be ridiculously expensive to import them to the UK -- £50+ for a pack of 6!! No bloody chance. I may look into making my own.

It's not. It's literally a slider on top of the toploader.

Right now I use oversized top loaders for the combiner characters and manually cover the non-active mode with another card.

I would like to move to folding the combiner and using a standard sized hard sleeve and transform by actually flipping the card. It’s easier to store and transport among other things.

The only thing holding me back is not knowing how to efficiently handle the act of combining into the gestalt.

Wreck N Rule pulls out a separate set all permanently combined using a foam backboard but while that looks great, it is even more unwieldy to store and transport.

For devastator I took the box art off the back and trimmed it to be fixed to one of the white cards that come in booster packs. I can add anpic if you want.

Interesting - yeah I’d certainly be interested in seeing a pic when you get a chance.

So what sleeves to you recommend for the top layer double sleevig battle and micro masters?
