so while i was at work last night i decided to check our system at canadian tire and i found out that we will at the very least be carrying assorted studio series deluxes if anyone wanted to know xD our store hasn't ordered any though, and i don't think we will be either. haven't carried mainline transformers since about 07'

 

I really wish I hadn't read this. Now I'm going to have to add crappy tire to my list of stores I aimlessly search... I'm running out of gas and wife's patience.

 

Did anyone in Vancouver who bought Studio Series Starscream have this problem? I just realised (2 weeks after I bought it, stupid me!) that apparently my copy has two left (or right, in robot mode) landing gears.

It doesn't help that A3U doesn't do returns for opened stuff   

So sorry to bother you guys with this issue!

 

They really won't do an exchange for a broken/damaged item? Cause you really can't know if it's broken or damaged until you open it...

Add EB games on the Queensway by Sherway Gardens in Toronto as well. I saw SS toys there earlier this week, oddly enough. It was not Starscream, however.

Welp. Then perhaps it is more accruate to say they don't have one ANYMORE. I do not recall seeing any at the EB Games in Eastgate Mall in Hamilton, though.

 

The EB Games at Dixie mall had one as of Thursday.

 

It's 2 weeks till the actual release for Studio Series and I have not seen any street date breakers. I guess some stores learned their lesson.

 

EB Games is selling them like it ain't no thang

I must say, TRU Canada is taking this whole "street date" thing FAR too seriously.

 

I just checked the Toysrus flyer.

They have a 25% off all $19.99 to $69.99 Transformers. From tomorrow till April 19th, Just right before the actual Studio Series release date.

 

Ha! I'd say that might be worth acquiring a raincheck.

So do we have a conclusive verdict on whether or not EB Games carries the leaders? I'm going there today and I'm going to ask if they can get Blackout for me.

I'm also going to TRU on Monday so maybe I'll get lucky and they'll be filthy street-date breakers.

I have not seen the leaders in EB, and lots of people scooping up the SS at EB because that’s the only place they have been seen.

Unfortunately, everything is under the same code as ‘AST TRANSFORMERS’, so unless you call and ask someone to check, they can’t tell you what is in stock where.

 

I asked the guy at my store to inquire. He was supposed to get a case in today but it didn't come, so he's going to email them and ask about the leaders. It's a long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask.

 

Anything come from this man?
