Why do I feel compelled to need the tiny bike pack and a Hotrod from a terrible movie, but I do feel compelled. Soundwave is a must. Probably should have dumped my original DOTM Soundwave as well as Que and Leadfoot at least a year ago with the way SS is going. I guess the more the merrier at this point.

 

The Bike Sisters are pretty good figures, all things considered. I got Soundwave along with them and I feel the Bike Sisters are definitely a hell of a lot better than Soundwave is.

They do look decent. I generally tossed the bikes that came with the Human Alliance figures in with my movie display when I had it out. Surprised at that opinion on Soundwave, though small, it looks miles better than the DOTM version.

 

They're pretty good, though definitely not my favorite as they can be fiddly. However, they are better if you can get them nice and warm. If you get it just right, you can even get them to be juicy. You just have to make sure there isn't any pink or purple left when you get them going.

I need to find the bike sisters and Soundwave at Target stat, I have gift cards!!

 

It's not bad in isolation and I wouldn't be negative about if I didn't have the sisters. But the CGI model has so much car deformation that it's impossible to have a transforming toy of the guy and stay close to the CGI. The thing that kills him for me is how far back the arms go on the torso. It gives it the look that his arms are father up ala CGI but the actual practical effect is that it makes the toy look wierd.

Also I just can't unsee the "air intakes" the toy has versus the model. I get this is the closest we can get at a retail price point, but it has to be judged on its merits.
