Both are fixed the same way, balljoints just seem to handle heavier loads worse. Granted this is Hasbro so tolerances for both are equally as poor. Ratchets are where it’s at.

Is there a massive group of fans that put figures on shelves backs facing out?

My post had nothing to do with the color actually, moreso the fucking hideous proportions of the body from above the knee to below the chest. Especially that bloated crotch.

Shoot. I misread that and thought you said there was a rumor they’d be doing an IDW-based retool.

So any idea why Percy has a gaping hole in his back? Because there has to be some reason for it.

This guy looks ok, not sure if it's worth replacing my TR version for this though. The white I would paint silver and the blue I would paint teal. I know the colors are toon accurate, but very boring on a figure

No, but people are also aware these are 3D objects. Not to mention in photos or displays that require at least 1 character to be facing away, backpacks or hollowness suck.

Depending on the diorama setup, there are bound to be a couple figures with their backs facing towards you. But even ignoring that, I'll bet people who enjoy handling their figures and don't just pose them & put them on the shelf would like them to not look so cheap when fiddling with them.

I know and if they did a GS IDW Perceptor he would (which is what I was talking about).

Not sure this is enough of an improvement over the TR to drop more money

The larger size is a nice surprise, but those ball jointed shoulders are unfortunate, especially given how pinned joints have become the norm since the advent of the WFC trilogy.

Very strange and disappointing departure in the case of this figure.

Literally the only thing that bothers me a bit is that big as peekaboo gap showing his face. This is so bought on sight

The giant gap on the back is annoying, and the lack of real wheels or rotating/extending tube is a step back from TR Perceptor. On the other hand, far more show accurate and extremely poseable.

You do realize that before the Intellectual Property Theft Figure comes out Hastak has to make one of "their official products" for one of your beloved knock off companies to steal, right?

I feel like balljoints became an issue at the beginning of this thread.
I'm literally reading the complaints about ball joints and I can't fathom their origin.
Honestly, I'm just glad that so far this discussion has largely avoided the "Oh noes! More Geewun!" complaint.
