How does it look if you leave the side flaps where they are in car mode, but turn the arms so the panel they should move to is at the front? Or more simply, with the wheels as the back of the arms and the other piece of car kibble next to the body, but without those flip out side panels moved to the front?

Ok I’m fracking tired of video reviewers saying lockdown cones with his spark extractor. It ain’t his dang spark extractor!!!!! It’s the sword he used in his fight with Optimus at the end of age of extinction!

Has anyone tried fitting Movie the Best Lockdown's masked head on Studio Series Lockdown?

    PrimevPrime and optibotimus so far.

Both of em were like “it’s not very accurate to how it appeared in the film”. Yeah, because that’s not what it’s trying to replicate...

Hey everyone, apparently, Studio Series Lockdown comes with his spark extractor. All two video reviewers told me. It's true.

    Nice review.
    Here's the funny thing.
Hasbro have found a CHEAP WAY to transform Bayverse Carbots.

    Roof Back Pack Collapsing.

How come they managed to do that neatly on BB but failed on the others?
It's just another plastic part or two.
Will those skyrocket the SS Deluxe price way higher?

    I don't think so.

The problem is that many of the designs, in CGI form, cheat greatly in their transformation, so a lot of that car kibble just disappears on the CGI models. Movies 4 and 5 are the biggest offenders in this regard, which is why it's no surprise to see Lockdown have this kind of a backpack. They probably could have done a bit better on Jazz, but maybe didn't want to risk getting too fragile at this scale with more parts.

Just opened up Lockdown last night and I am really happy with him! Could have had a couple more hinges to clean up the kibble for bot mode (specifically the door forearms are something I wish would be left in the past) and I might shave off some of the ankles to get more ankle articulation, but he's overall pretty awesome. The look and feel is so much like the movie, moreso than Peru Kill for sure.

Has anyone discovered weapon storage in bot mode? I tried kinda shoving the weapons in the backpack kibble but they're not secure.

This is much better in every way than the original AoE Deluxe toy. Where the original's alt. mode seemed tiny for a Deluxe, this one seems just right and looks way better, especially with the windows. Transformation is fairly simple, about the same level as the AoE Deluxe but a bit more straightforward. Robot mode looks excellent; there are many aspects of it that I honestly like better than what UT did with Peru Kill, especially with the headsculpt/collar. The main criticisms I have are the backpack and the limited poseability, and I personally prefer Movie the Best Lockdown's accessories, but overall it's the best official Lockdown toy and well worth the purchase. Peru Kill is still the Lockdown to own, but this is a great addition to any movie/Lockdown-enthusiast collection.

I am loving my lockdown, but I really wish hasbro had put a little more thought into the weapons. For instance, with just one groove they could have combined into one weapon, or a simple peg or slot in his backpack could have given him a use for the backpack kibble as weapon storage. Also, with just a little bit of extra thought at least one of the weapons could have been stored underneath or inside his car mode. Did they just not care or did they not have the time?

PS: Can a mod please split this thread into two separate review threads?

Wow, SS really nails that headsculpt. I think he looks the best overall among the three.

Yeah, the robot mode looks spot-on. It's almost hard to believe the Hasbro figure has a nicer alt mode than Peru Kill.
