A clean Deco Galvatron has some "limited appeal" I guess to me. but I would suggest that they might have been better off skipping him for a reissue (even if it's tweaked) and instead going for a shared deco with Takara that used lilaque deco instead of that medium-dark purple he is.
He's to darn expensive to release as many times as Siege Megatron - so I'd rather they cut to the chase and make a lilac one.

There is a bit of an issue with these closed boxes and the use of inaccurate stock photos, and also take something like Premium Siege Megatron with that ugly dot printing on it - that isn't even going to show up until someone reviews it - they promoted that toy as being shiny silver too and it just isn't if they have a box with a visible window it would be less of an issue.

I expect Chefatron will hate this as he won't be able to check the deco on the figures. & it is going to cause ciminality issues in large volume too.

Oh I would welcome that and definitely prefer it. Which is why I’m saying I think this is half-assed, and it’s annoying if they’re trying to trick us into buying this now and then releasing said SS86 version

Not a fan of the closed leader boxes. Expect a surge of the « worst repacks » thread.

Imagine thinking that the shoulders would still be an issue for a whole jee release of galvatron

i love this new packaging, so funky fresh

I dont like how the plastic on Cliffjumper is different than the ER one. The ER Cliffjumper has some nice feeling, almost matte kinda plastic on the feet and chest. But this looks shiny, tinky kinda plastic

Do we have a release date for Transformers Legacy in Eastern Europe? The distribution has been awful here when it comes to Transformers, but we start to get SS and Kingdom figures.

Although shit—we may all be overreacting, look at Cliffjumper, I just bought that toy and it has painted windows (as I think we’re all aware...), though I would have definitely preferred the transparent version in these pics... so we’ll probably all rush out and order this Galvatron and end up with a second copy of the periwinkle birdshit version

The shoulders are no longer a concern. Selects and Pulse versions are 100% fixed and basically every Kingdom figure seen at retail since September are fixed.

Or in some cases a 3rd.
    Now your getting it.

Hasbro : release Galvatron but mess up the shoulders
    Lacky : why?
Hasbro : to make them buy a 2nd of course.
Then repackage a 3rd variant without the 'battle paint'
    Boom triple sales.

.... And then we'll do a toon accurate deco in the SS86 line.
... And don't forget the other official repaints too.

If closed boxes are the norm, then I'm not shamed to admit that I'm opening the box to verify the contents. Even when I found a $42 Siege Jetfire at Walmart, I gently lifted the tape and pulled out the insert to make sure everything was there.

It's simply too much of a pain in the ass to find out later on that the wrong figure was repacked or something is missing. Especially in this instance when it was a Christmas gift for my son and wasn't going to be opened for months.

I feel like it’ll really hurt brick-and-mortar retail... maybe the toy section isn’t big enough for them to care and they won’t notice all the money lost in returns and customer complaints, but I for one will probably shift to only buying online... still sucks because I almost always have some QC issue with each TF I buy these days, and being able to see the toy is really important... fwiw tho, I also HATE the windowless “grope me” packaging. Don’t get me wrong, I know reducing plastic is important—especially disposable plastic—but the toys get scraped/parts go missing/sometimes trash ends up in there ... it’s f***ing disgusting

These look more like stock images. Hell that clear window cliff looks straight off the back of the Buzzworthy Bee box

Sort of, but not exactly. It's supposedly a QR code that will take you to a character bio page if you scan it. There may be tech spec data on that page as well. I'm not sure if it's been updated. Last time I checked the QR codes that are known, the new bios hadn't been uploaded yet. That was a month or so ago. Maybe they have by now?

I'm really not liking that the renders implying that Bulkhead's entire cab is made of clear plastic....

It's just the lighting and processing of the photo. The toy was probably shot in a dark grey set originally, which between that and how the lights were arranged around the toy would lead to a darker appearance of any clear plastic elements.

If they have Arcee in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line it's going to be the Earthrise/Kingdom mold isn't it?
