That honestly sums up Shockwave’s thoughts here. The true moral of this story, however, is ‘tiny excitable chainsaw is bad for plushies of all sizes.’ Poor Cuddletooth. She just wants to hug...
He could probably use a Tailgate and Cyclonus to rein him in, honestly. Blue isn't a good minder, bless him, and Optimus has to deal with everybody.
I don’t know Prowl, a lot of the Siege figures upcoming are Autobots (Ironhide, Chromia, Six Gun, Prowl, Red Alert, Mirage, Impactor, Springer, the Off Road Patrol, Jetfire, Omega Supreme) Vs the Decepticons announced (Starscream, Soundwave, Brunt, Reflector, Barricade, the Sports Car Patrol, Laserbeak and Ravage, Thundercracker)......and that’s not counting exclusives (Ratchet, Greenlight, Bluestreak, Soundblaster, Skywarp (?)).......or does Prowl mean the Studio Series too? And how long until a Megatron and Starscream pop up?
Regarding 'why not both': that is indeed the soundest strategy and probably the one they should go with, even if Optimus doesn't like half the plan. (It also has the bonus of making Optimus go 'meep', which is just cute.) Alas, a bunch of releases being Autobots does them no good if they're not the ones on preorder. Though I do want to upgrade him to a Siege Prowl. The G1 version...kinda sucks. The guys on preorder are Screamer, Thundercracker, KSI Boss, and Dropkick. I do have two other Starscreams kicking around (Animated and Energon), but no Megatron. Haven't had a good idea for them yet. Soundwave IS super biased, but in fairness: it's the prettiest color they did.
I wonder if MP Soundwave would get along with his Siege Counterpart......I here the Siege Version is pretty good, er Superior......
I'm very tempted by the black Soundblaster repaint that was briefly previewed. Especially after looking at the wiki and seeing in the Dreamwave continuity, he was a clone made Shockwave...which was my thinking even before I saw that page. Shockwaves and mad science, man. Speaking of...
Decepticon science? Go horribly awry? Never. He's a really nifty toy and I love how well his light-piping works. I've also ordered a set of additional hands for him, so I'm looking forward to making use of those.
