    That's what I said!!! :lol
I hope it's similar to the MAAS Toys Tetrajet design.
TBH, I feel like they're building hype for too long. Excitement can quickly turn to annoyance if you hold on to the goods for too long.
It would also make some sense considering Hasbro still considers WFC/FOC to be part of the Prime universe for some stupid reason. Yes I know there are too many continuity errors to consider them to be in the same universe, but Hasbro never bothered to come back and say they are not in the same universe after The Aligned Continuity failed miserably, so unfortunately, they're still stuck together as far as Hasbro is concerned.

Hype is still hype though :p

Also didn’t they say the aligned continuity was more akin to g1 marvel and sunbow (similar starting point and all that) but not literally a single continuity

Yeah. I also thought of it from a review of Prime Shockwave that I read once that had compared him to an augmented FOC Shockwave.

That'd be both twisted and metal at the same time. Suddenly I want this to happen.

Pretty sure we all know who the "buttercup" is here....

Anyways, speaking of reading more carefully, pretty much everything you've decided to accuse ME of here is, true to form, quite wrong.
My only complaint about Shockwave IS that it is Leader class, and that is only IF it is simply a standard Leader-sized figure (like POTP Rodimus and Optimus) and doesn't involve some sort of add-on/armor/gimmick that adds to it and therefore makes it Leader class. I'm certainly not going to pass any judgment until I actually see it, however.
But by all means, make broad generalizations about people, and complain about people complaining, that's seemed to work out so well so far.

I'm fairly certain they just took WFC/FOC, Prime, and the books that were supposed to take place in the WFC/FOC games (Exodus and the like), and shoehorned them all into one continuity and wanted to make everything continue from this one starting point or something. The problem is that every single piece of fiction heavily contradicted every single other piece of fiction in that "continuity", so it fell apart pretty quickly. Also, High Moon Studios themselves stated they had made WFC to be a more structured prequel to G1 in contrast to all the different origins shown in the original cartoon, and then Hasbro came along and told them they were putting it in the Prime universe, and that's why we had the Prime Cliffjumper head on FOC Cliffjumper and I guess it's what led to the very different Dinobot origins compared to G1. It was a mess.

That’s why I consider it more of a continuity family rather than a single continuity. Also the games are pretty incompatible with g1 as a prequel (at least with the cartoon) what with the arielbots and jetfire already being autobots

Like I said, they tried to make everything be in one continuity, but it all contradicted itself. High Moon I think were just trying to make a version that makes more sense. Maybe if they got to make more games, they could've made games after FOC that took place on Earth after the Autobots and Decepticons woke up on Earth.

Transformers: Age of Extinction KSI Drone "Two-Head". I don't think this is the "KSI Boss", but it might be.

Add me to the list of people crossing their fingers that Shockwave is voyager sized with optional armor. I've been wishing for a Voyager Classics Shockwave since 2006 and have been repeatedly disappointed.

Add me to the list of people who thinks Siege will replicate a bit the g1 toyline scale, so shockwave will be bigger than megs, screamer or soundwave.

I have this horrible feeling you may be right. I believe Sixshot was made Leaderclass less for the gimmick and more for the fact the G1 toy was so big. Same with Predaking being in the Titan scale due to the original being the biggest Combiner.
It's just a waiting game now until we know the truth. Until then, pitchforks and torches are in storage.

    I blame Hasbro's marketing dept.

Their logic is likely to keep SIEGE somewhat dormant while advertising the heck out of all their other toy lines in hopes that SS, Cyberverse and BumbleBay figures will weather the doubt, when instead it's even more irritating for me.

32 pages of people talkings about names and numbers.
Hasbro just needs to reveal the fucking toys already.

Scale isn't that important, especially for Shockwave, who is a wildcard character. In G1 was barely around and not in Megatron's inner circle. In all other media he's been a mad scientist planning beyond Megatron and sometimes enhancing himself and others.

If Shockwave shows up huge it's easy to explain lore wise. He could have continued the research of Thunderwing, or be in the throws of Dark Cybertron, or preparing to destroy reality.

For such an imaginative genre with ready made super fluff, we can get strangely closed minded.

In the end I'll bet he'll be like Ultra Magnus, because that's the obvious trend.

How many people are forgetting that Hasbro said, during SDCC, that gimmicks in Siege will be used for characters who utilized said gimmick before? (Ultra Magnus and his trailer armor, for example). It's probably unlikely that Shockwave will have armor like Ultra Magnus does.
