Damn it, they HAD to make the cab different from Optimus.

 

Also, white Magnus seems has the same transformation as PotP Orion. Which seems to be the same for WFC:S OP as well.

 

I’m so excited for cog. It’s so awesome they made the missing components for TR Fortress Maximus

 

These close looks are pretty handy. Optimus is still pretty crappy looking in alt mode, but in person both modes look far better than the render. Ultra Magnus is definitely awesome. Hound too. Really liking Hound, Ironhide, and Magnus's alt modes. Optimus's chest looks to open and they seem to have cockpits?

 

Well I was all in on Micromasters until I found out that it'll only be 2 from a team and they'll be $10. I may pick up Hound, cause I really like the character, but most of the other ones I'm happy with the previous versions (Ultra Magnus, Ironhide, Sideswipe, Prime). I'm hoping the Autobot Targetmasters get released. I'm glad to see people are getting some figures they've been wanting and that Magnus is inspired from his RID form.

 

Based on what I'm seeing so far, I'm not as excited about Seige as I was for previous lines. Maybe it's that I already have many modern versions of these characters already. Will probably just pick up Chromia (if I can find her), and a few of the little guys and call it a day. UW does look pretty good overall, and like HH said above, it's cool that his alt mode is more RID-inspired. Looking forward to seeing the Decepticons, tho!

 

Prime magnus sideswipe Ironhide and chromia all look the business here. I'd have to get magnus wouldn't I? Lol.

Wonder will we get an updated Galvatron eventually in this line?

 

No Legends is a major bummer, particularly since they were the only figures in POTP I was thrilled to see (the rest were... ok) and which have been consistently excellent for the past 3 years.

But I was so sick and tired of the combining gimmick and the cheapening of combiners in general that I am very glad they finally let that one die.

 

Still no Flywheels...

I'd blame that on the terrible POTP product line management rather than what they are doing for Siege. If they wanted to push a female combiner, they should have done so there (perhaps instead of Dreadwind and Darkwing who should have been voyagers).

 

Wow, they somehow managed to make an Ultra Magnus that both looks like his G1 self in addition to his Car Robots version. That's bought on sight.

Anyone else getting an Impactor vibe from that Ironhide?

 

Hoping for Delta Magnus and Wheejack

 

We're still needing a definitive Cliffjumper and Hubcap as well.
