Me too, but the so called "Walmart embargo" is still in effect. (Where Walmart has decreed to online vendors: "thou shalt NOT have preorders for product we should have in OUR stores until AFTER our street dates!)

 

I just snagged wave 1 deluxes and battlemasters from midtown comics, got preorders for blowpipe, lionizer, hound, cog, sideswipe and skytread/flywheels. They’ve got all of wave one as far as I can tell

 

Did I miss something about Siege UM or was it mistake by TTomy?
Don't tell me Siege UM also come with Minimus Ambus that can be hidden within the cab......agrrrr NOOOOO!!! LOL

So if UM comes with Minimus, you can't just toss it into a bin? It's not like CW UM's Minimus was in any way integral to the design.

 

Minimus Ambus was technically always there. He just used to be a white Optimus Prime. I thought the IDW version was a good twist on that concept. It's weird to see people so bent on a white inner bot, yet oppose Minimus greatly.

 

I agree, I liked the initial twist. What I didn't like was how they then went out of the way to completely destroy the UM persona in future comics, making sure Minimus is just as touchy feely as the rest of Roberts' characters.

 

Not really. Always a bot that could wear the armor. Minimus Ambus is just the latest and he came out of retirement. Although they never said how many times UM died so who the first one is it could still be the white little prime.

 

Well, he was retconned into having always been there since Ultra Magnus first appeared in IDW's continuity.

 

Which is the current one and not disputing that but not the same one in Rom vs Transformers Shinning Armor

 

Just saw video reviews of OP and Megs. They both look like fantasic pieces to have.

 

Woot got in a PO for the wave 1 deluxes before TCP took them down!

 

When will them release?

 

Got Optimus and Megatron today, and have only opened Prime so far. He is incredible. He feels small, but he is so solid, has decent weight, no hollow pieces and a surprisingly complex transformation as opposed to what we've been used to recently. Even the "weathering" doesn't bother me.
