How similar are the green plastics between the two Springers in person? I love IDW Springer's transforming sword and was thinking I'd let Siege Springer use that in bot/coptor mode if it fits and doesn't look too out of place.

Thank you for reviewing Siege Springer and also comparing it to the Thrilling 30 Springer toy. I like the Thrilling 30 version for the fact that it's based on/inspired by Nick Roche's take on Springer. However, I like the Siege version because it's closer to the classic G1 design.

The greens actually are surprisingly similar! However, you’ll have to trim the T30 post, because its longer and sticks up quite a bit on the new Springer, making it look a bit goofy.

Right now I have a legends scale springer but I'm considering getting this springer but need some help deciding. As a chug collector I thought the legends was too small but the old generations springer which was a voyager scale was too big. I'm not sure if this smaller voyager scale siege is doing has a name since it seems bigger than a deluxe.

I'm looking for a size comparison of springer in car mode next to a combiner wars car in car mode.

Also if anyone has that legends scale springer which is about a year old in robot mode and / car mode next to siege springer that would wonderful.

    lol......
in my video at the top, I compare him to a deluxe class car in vehicle mode but really, it's a voyager class, how would this work with a legends scale collection? I'm confused AF. He's all the way bigger than a deluxe. That's the purpose of Voyager Class.

I saw you videos before making the post. The most important part of a toy review to me is scale, so normally I fast forward to find those parts.

You showed a siege soundwave which I think is a siege voyager figure. (it was in alt mode but that alt mode is odd and that makes it hard to compare) I am not really interested in the Siege line and just cherry picking my favorites in that line. (Sixshot, & Fortmax sidekick) So I am not familiar with siege soundwave size. This Springer figure isn't really cyberton style just a solid G1 figure so I am interested in it. However, the Siege line deluxe and voyager figures are a different size than the [ CW, TR, POTP's ] deluxe and voyager scale. So, I would like to see how Siege Springer car mode compares to CW deluxe figures in car mode since as a chug collector that's what I have a lot of currently.

The reason for that request is because I know the IDW old Classic Springer was too big in car mode. Which is why I went with a legends scale version (mech fans springer) since it was closer in scale to my cw deluxe cars and also my XTB Windcharger and XTB Tailgate. However, since this Siege Voyager is smaller than the CW Voyager it gives me hope that this Siege Springer would be a better match to the CW deluxe in car mode. Fyi, most of my collection is in car mode unless its apart of a combiner and that is why its important question for me. Thanks.

    Btw, Great Jetfire Review!

I'm very appreciative of it since you showed him next to a CW Combiner and when I saw they were the same height it helped me make the decision to keep my current Mechaform Jetfire rather than upgrading since in robot mode the Siege version of Jetfire is just too tall for my chug collection.

I love him, he grew on me with all his clunky glory. His guns are awful, however. They're way too dinky. Bayverse Hound's twin rocket launchers look great on him as a car turret when docked to hisbrotor hub, or in-hand. I may have to fabricate some better swords than his butterknives as well.

Took awhile to get ole Siege Springer's review up because of the amount of custom work I did with him and the comparisons across all 3 modes I wanted to do with the good ole Generations version. The new one is good, but is he good enough?
