My husband is a manager at Dollar Tree stores and they are getting in shipments of Transformers RPM toys. He brought about a dozen home today. They are cars (the transformers in their alt mode) and when it stands up the robot is underneath, it doesn't actually transform or anything but is a legit transformer toy not some knock off. (A perfect for a four year old that has trouble transforming the toys).

So if you are looking for a transformer toys for cheap head on over to Dollar Tree.

And im back from my local dollar tree. They didnt have any out.

not announcing that they're out just that they are cheap. They came out on this weeks truck. every $ trees truck comes in on a different day, my husbands store just came in today (normally they unload the truck one day and out it out of the floor the next day) ask them what day their truck comes in and ask them to check the truck worksheet which comes out a couple days before the truck comes and says what is on the truck. This is a one time shipment meaning they are probably trying them out or they were over clearanced from another market.
sorry that is probably way more about retail than you wanted to know but just trying to help out my fellow transformers friends get some toys for cheap. : )

 

Thanks for the tip, I've been wanting to get some RPMs but the regular retail price is just too much for what they are.

 

I don't know if the truck worksheet says what specific transformers they are or not. I will check what my husband got (my son is playing with them and not sharing right now) we got about a dozen of them and sideways and bumblee are amongst them.

EDIT: I am looking at the Optimus Prime one and I don't see a faction symbol on the car but on the robot underneath there is the symbol. Bumblebee has a faction symbol on the car, I have sideways around here somewhere. I don't know what the speed series bumblebee is and I think my husband threw out the boxes. (we aren't collectors the toys were for my transformer loving son, isn't he great?)

As soon as I find sideways I can tell ou about the faction symbol....hope that helps a little.

EDIT X 2 = Sideways has a decepticon symbol on the hood.
The ones that I can remember that we got offhand are:
Megatron, Sideways, Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Mixmaster, LongHaul, Jolt, Barricade and one that I am forgetting. Some of them have faction symbols on the cars, some don't, all have them on the robot underneath though.

my son LOVES them. He is having quite the battle on the stairs...until Megatron killed Lightning McQueen, not sure how he got in there.

while its nice news I just can't see me buying any since only buy transformers for the transforming not the looking.

 

All I have from this series is the Screamer/Ironhide pack, but I could see myself getting Prime and Barricade for just $1 each. Must remember to check Dollar Tree on my next day off.
