My walmart has signs up in the isle.

Displays, yes. However, this birdie told me that they would never cover half an isle up during their busiest hours in waiting for the release of the toys.

What you are refering to, are modulars, and yes all walmarts should have them now. Set up at this time, maybe not, but have them to be ready for their launch, yes.

My source says walmart would never do something like this memo stated. Start a reset at midnight hours, only to have them covered in plastic from the wee hours of the night, til; 5 pm the next day.

I can see this logic too. What's to stop someone from just popping their head under the plastic and grabbing a toy? They can't block the isle with rope either, because what if some kid wants a Batman: Brave and the Bold toy, which happens to be next to the TF2 toys? They would lose a chance at making money.

They can have setup whatever they want as of now, but no toys will be on the shelves until midnight at walmart. I will make a post on Friday, in the news section to clarify this with a higher up from walmart. Bank on it.

 

Well there's none in NH, so that means I'll just go on Saturday.  

Which is good, cause I didn't want to have to miss my Prom just so I can get Sideswipe and Dirt Boss.

I was quite surprised to see those two Maryland stores listed! And honestly, I don't give two craps about the ROTF stuff to rush to something like this, but would've liked to go to the Annapolis one if it meant meeting up with other fans. Unfortunately, no dice here.

 

Woo! The Staten Island TRU is participating. I'll be sure to go.

Dang, the only Georgia one is in Kennesaw; I was sort of expecting them to chose one of the TRUs in Metro Atlanta (ie - Buckhead) for something like this, rather than outside the Perimeter. Oh well, looks like I'll just take off from work an hour early and pop into a couple of Wal-Marts instead. I'm not looking to buy everything Friday, just a few priorities (Rampage, Skywarp, Starscream) and hopefully a chance to lighten the load of things needed on Saturday.

 

DAMN YOU TRU! No PA stores >.<, guess I'll have to try to go to annepolis, or wait for saturday morning. Tough choice. Probaly just sit at home and cursing TRU all night

oh cool news, I'm so there. Chi-town Toys @ 9.

 

Theres one in warwick next to the, well, what used to be Rhode Island Mall. now all that is left in there is Sears and The Toy Vault (Which has tons of vintage G1 Transformers, Starwars, Star Trek etc.) I'm surprised The Toy Vault, despite the bad enconomy, has managed to stay open after all the other stores moved out (Spencers Gifts, KBToys, payless, EB games etc.)

 

Whew! Maryland has is in the opening! I live near 1 but i'm sure which.
