    Issue is out on Comixology.

    THE RETURN OF MEGATRON!

I gotta say after reading MTMTE and knowing now what I know about
    Shockwave
it makes his actions a lot more interesting.

    I seriously hope
    Megatron
rips Arcee to pieces. She's such an awful character. She's almost like Costa's Spike Witwicky in robot form or something.

    Really..... hmmm.
I'd hoped it was Starscream's chance to shine. If Bumblebee can be leader, why not Starscream?
Peace through tyranny it is then!

Arcee was kind of doomed from the start based on how her character started out, the no Fembots thing kind of painted the IDWverse into a corner.

Poor RiD has to have the big reveal of
    Megatron returning
that we all knew what gonna happen while MTMTE melts brains with it's last page ZOMG!

I love how thick the tension is in RID. I am cautiously optimistic about Megatron, I hope his presence doesn't derail the story. Current IDW-verse has shown how great Transformers can be without a war raging.

I agree, its given characters the freedom to act outside of the military command structure. Prime and Megs just dominate too much with their personalities and goals.

So tired of Arcee, her light sabers and Decepticons dying. But I still want to see how this all turns out before the time machine makes everything right again.

Oh god, I would literally throw up. And it would destroy two whole books that are some of the finest TF comics ever. FORTUNATELY, Wheeljack doesn't seem to think it's as simple as all that.

Anyway, loving where the political situation wound up.
Prowl/Starscream, by sheer glorious chance, might have deprived Megatron of his greatest allies just when he needed them most. Megatron looks trashed enough so that Starscream will have the ability to defy him. Certainly the NAILs won't give him the time of day. I really want to see Megatron trying to play ball, waiting for the chance to kick over everything, as opposed to just doing it right away.

Starscream has earned his shot at the top. He hadn't before, but he has now. Barber has virtually rescued one of my favorite G1 characters in the IDW continuity, he'd been really a bit dull and predictable till RiD. If anything he needs more panel time.

Really worried about Megatron's return. It can definitely ruin everything. Though I have to give both him and Barber points. Just walking back out of the wastes is not what I expected and quite badass.

Yey talking Ravage! Boo, Arcee most likely killing him (and Rumble). Really getting tired of how Decepticons drop like flies in this book.

How left field would it be if Megatron walks into New Iacon, about to start doing Megatron-esque stuff, only for Superion and Ironhide to show up and stomp him into dust?

The fact that people are begging for a magic retcon for "interesting events without precedent in a Transformers book" makes me want to cry. Oh boo hoo Constructicons.

I would also be displeased if Ravage was dead, but he probably isn't. Arcee claims she only killed the ones she "couldn't tell apart," and Ravage is clearly in a leadership position. He's just sidelined along with the 'waves. MTMTE just showed us how easily that a clean decapitation can be survived if followed by stasis lock.

Yeah, it seemed pretty clear Ravage is still alive. And do people honestly think the time machine (which, by the way, is only capable of traveling sideways in time) is going to undo all of this? Honestly?

While the MTMTE ending was far more shocking, still have to give points to Megs for his rather bad-ass walk out of the wilderness.

I'm kinda hoping we get a brief "Whats Megatron been up to" but hope it doesn't take up the Majority of the issue.....

and yeah, I really think people are worrying about nothing with the Time Machine....this isn't MARVEL/DC....

So, I'm wondering how far Prowl's scheming is going to go?

He's now got Shockwave and Soundwave under wraps. He's had the bulk of the Decepticon Heavy Hitters neutralized.

That cover of RID # 13 or 14 where Prowl and Arcee are standing over Wheeljack....guess it'll turn out that they start offing Autobots who learn about his cloak and dagger stuff.

    Whole lotta intrigue here.

With Megatron back and the Decepticons rioting on the covers of future issues, methinks Prowl's going to go even more over the edge...

On another note, this is tied with the annual as my favorite issue of RiD yet. Loved it. Lots of moments with the main cast and some of my favorite Cons (Shockwave and Dirge in particular), plus lots of plot advancement... great issue all around. And as an added bonus (for me, at least), Warpath made a cameo. ;)

And while I am fearful of what Megs' return means for the IDW books... we'll see.

I think it's far more likely prowl and arcee are coming to wheeljacks rescue, that's a red herring if ever I saw one.

Just want to point out, Frenzy and Rumble are correctly colored in this issue. Good on them.

I read this before MTMTE 11, and going over certain scenes after that is so crazy awesome.

Sideways eh? Megatron's going to be all "Behold my alternate reality Constructicons, who are Yellow!"

I think "sideways" just means "you can go anywhere in the universe in an instanr, but you can't go to the past or future of those locations." I guess it could conceivably travel to other dimensions if you gave it a power boost, but I doubt that'll happen.
