This character codenamed "Phantom" Alludes to a spirit/vile being. I think this could be some sort of villain, not a Terrorcon, but potentially a Predacon like BW Megatron/Galavar.

 

The codenames don't mean anything bumblebee's codename was George and primal's was cyclops

 

Don’t you know that Bumblebee’s name is a reference to the fact that C-3PO is the same color and George Lucas made him. And Primal’s name based on the fact that cyclops in Greek mythology are gorilla sized.

 

Interesting. So that puts us at 3 codenamed characters getting toys: Safari, Journey, and Phantom. Now the question is are these toyline only characters, or are they in the film.

We know the main robot cast for the Autobots, Terrorcons, and Maximals. I’m thinking one of those codenames belongs to Stratosphere. I’m thinking the other two codenames are for yet to be confirmed Predacons.

 

Please, use a darker shade of blue next time.

I now want a retool of TR Blaster that turns into a concert stage and minicons for band members.

Edit: the Selects version comes with a special Stan Bush minicon as well and Blaster comes with audio that plays a short clip of The Touch.  

 

I’m not gonna lie, those transforming masks are pretty fucking wild. I don’t exactly like them but I’m also kind of an awe of them lol

I find it hilarious that the designer/copy writer knows how the robot mode looks nowhere near accurate to the movie designs (understandably) that they use "inspired by" in the description.

 

They look stupid and I want one. I do appreciate that they're 5mm compatible, gotta make sure my transforming mask version of Optimus Primal gets all of his necessary weapons.

I actually love the primal\'s mask, but the Bumblebee one uhhh, it flats out looks bad tbh, the primal looks good in my opinion, i think it works because it\'s the plastic color works, so it looks like he\'s better painted than he actually he is, if that make sense wkkwkw ._. But the bumblebee looks cheap, the plastic colors, yellow, the 2 shades of grey just looks really bad to me

Also maybe i didn\'t noticed, but primal have blades now??? That\'s kinda nice for a gimmick base figure :>
