Just when we had gotten used to the term “Core Class”, now every class has a core version.

Is there a Core Core?

Oh sorry, I just thought so because of that strangely small Core Class Shockwave from a while back.

 

So core is referring towards a mainline toy line. Something similar to earthspark or legacy. This means 4 different form of toys can be purchased at 1 store.

"Spark Racers" are very likely to be the new Legends Class/Legion Class assortment for the film's toyline.

 

Probably will get confusing quick.

Something like that yeah, they apparently did the same for the Snake Eyes toyline.

Maybe yeah, hopefully, they come out good, I don't really expect them to be like the DOTM Cyberverse line but if they are somewhat close I'm gonna be in for some probably.

 

I'm pretty sure core is being used literally here.

 

Think the correct term is Legion class. That's what RID 15 and I think BB used as the "legends class" figures.

 

Comments reminding me about Legion Class figures, and it fills my heart with pure joy that we may be getting the return of them!!! THAT is my childhood. That\'s what started my 16 year collection when I was too small to afford anything besides a $4 legion class. I feel like a child again every time a movie comes out and they come back.

 

Me too! My first Legends class was Cliffjumper vs. Recon Barricade and I'm still collecting them today, I really appreciated the Bumblebee Speed Series range. So I hope Rise of the Beasts has something similar and from what I've read, the Spark Racers might be it.

 

I need to buy at least one Legion from ROTB, maybe two. Something’s telling me I don’t spend enough. (Definitely not my wallet wkwkwkw)  

 

In my case I've only jumped back into collecting the Legion stuff and it's simpler because most of the older ones are second-hand and easy to come by. Well, certain characters anyway.

 

looks like a kmart, and idk what the tags mean, but on amazon australia several rotb toys have a release date of april 10th, it seems the core/mainline lineup of figures is one of the few releasing first.

Gosh I loved those two-pack legends class toys from the first movie. $7 for two awesome little guys, what a steal.
