Arcee does look a bit better than the first photos. Miiiiiight consider getting her if I see her in a store. But I’m happy to stick to the BB figure.

Same here. I'm also not a huge fan of the legs and the back, but I'm buying her to scale with others.

That means, sadly , that this is probably going to be the last core motorcycle bot we get. Thank you very much, you robot obsessed naysayers. I hate where you're driving this Hobby. Soon the focus will Shift even more towards the robot modes until we're getting nothing but uncreative recycled transformations with unfinished vehicle modes. You're already ruining the chug stuff for me, can't you leave SS alone please? Some are in this for awesome vehicle modes that scale well you know?

 

Very nice.  At first I was replused by vibes from the classic bike girls (energon was it?), but she gets real hands and an appropriately sized weapon.  What an age we live in!

 

This has pretty much always been the philosophy with core/legends/legion/cyberverse/commander/etc. Studio Series or not, they don't really need to justify any character making it into the core line based on their size because in the end, they can fall back on the line being a "cheaper option that they can pocket and fiddle with".

We do need to wait to see how she scales in ROTB. She didn't seem that much smaller than other characters that received a deluxe release from the BB movie, but of course sizes can change between movies.

Since she's a core class and retool from the Prime Arcee, I gonna skipped until she is under sales.

I already owned and loved T30 Chromia so it's not a must have for me!

Rattrap was too small as a robot for Beast Wars show scale.

 

True but I can still see it was base on the Prime Arcee with the split wheels on the leg, the arms goes at the rear of the motocycle and the back kibble. It's like how Kingfom Tigertron was a larger version to Kingdom to Kingom Cheetor.

 

I'd die for a legacy Arcee remolded from this!

 

Those instagram photos look great IMO. Scale matters a lot to me, and so far I really like the SS designs for ROTB. I can\'t wait to see all the autobots together, I really hope they retooled optimus.

The ROTF Knockout mold was much better in both modes.

 

Sam said ROTB Arcee is a Core Class because she's actually small in the film

Having one Arcee doesn't rule out any other Arcees

 

Honestly I say lets do both. A deluxe version that is tiny like this but with a cleaner, slightly more accurate robot mode and a Core Arcee/bike bot that has a even more in scale alt mode.

 

Through the lens of ‘this is a core class’ I think it looks fine. I’m out of the live action Studio Series game but if I wasn’t, I’d probably pick this up.

 

Gonna preorder this arcee soon. Like the design. The core class has been quite good so far.
