Woah, I can't wait to pick this up and be the only person here who likes this thing, while the rest of the site acts like as if it ruined society or something like that.

I didn't even notice the sculpted shoulder rocket launchers. Shame they haven't been painted enough to make them recognisable.

This is personally not one I'll pick up, (but only because I don't collect any live-action TF's) but I think this looks great, hoping for more core class in future!

Really don\'t understand why she is a core figure. Hasbro has done small deluxes before, and easily could have done it for Arcee.

Core class is fun. Mostly from the perspective that I can choose to absolutely ignore it or I can pull in various iterations depending on where they slot/make sense. For instance; BB movie Ravage was a must have to pair with Voyager BB movie Soundwave. Otherwise I mostly ignore these. This ROTB Arcee looks fun though and I will likely grab it.

I understand they want an “accurate” scale but no other motorcycle bot has had it before. I’d argue most motorcycle (and jets) transformers are hilariously out of scale…

I don’t think anyone would care if she got a much more detailed deluxe

I also find the decision to take her from a tall bot in Bumblebee to being a tiny motorcycle…a little weird….would’ve been nice to have a pink convertible corvette or something

Knew one of these Ads would eventually spill the beans. They can't help themselves. This is a Bayverse film.

She is a bit of a kibbly gal, but it's cool how she can stand upright on top of her two wheel halves. Face is pretty good for the price class, and the bike mode is nifty. I do hope Arcee here will get a deluxe figure too somewhere down the line.

This is clearly just a standard core class release and not meant to scale to anything other than core class (which it doesn't really). I don't know why he had to bring scale into this as if it belongs with the other deluxes. It's not like they didn't release Shockwave in core class, or are we also supposed to believe that he is to scale with deluxes as well?

Those back of the legs are pretty hideous. I mean even Prime Legends Arcee hid the wheels better.

The vehicle mode is supposed to be based on ROTF Arcee and given the way the wheels on the legs seem to come down, it sure looks like the legs were, too.

There are basically two scale standards in Core Class:

    1) Smaller figures of bigger characters (Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, Seekers, etc) that don't necessarily scale with anything, including each other
    2) In scale figures of small characters (Rumble, Ravage, Wheelie, Spike, Dracodon) that are the right size to fit in the mainline scale.

Then there are figures like Rattrap, Iguanus, and Bombburst where I am not sure if they are meant to be in scale or not. Regardless, from what he is saying it sounds like this Arcee, like her ROTF counterpart (which may or may not be canon), will a smaller robot so this may well be in scale with the standard deluxe and voyager ROTB figures.

Just another 10-20 degrees of rotation would have them better incorporated into the legs.

Well, the front fenders can't very well clip through the legs like a CGI model.

I really shouldn\'t be saying this out loud lol, but I would absolutely love to see a deluxe version of this character that is the same size. I want her in scale, and she\'s only slightly taller than a human. But it would be great to get a detailed, highly painted, kibble-minimal and well engineered version of her with a higher class price point.

I think you’re missing the point. Scale was one of the defining features of SS when they launched the line almost 5 years ago. Yeah it’s pretty much faded from advertising for the line, but they’ll still utilize this when determining which size class a character belongs in. But the size class is also for bringing larger characters in too, like Shockwave, for those who want a cheaper option that they can pocket and fiddle with.

I think from an in universe scale perspective, Arcee does belong in core class. Obviously my thoughts could change when the film releases, giving us a clearer shot of how Arcee stacks up to the rest of the bots. My issue with this figure though stems from the design as a whole, which they based on a configuration that while fun, is likely only in the film for all of one scene, and I think it screwed with the kibble management.
