Given the rising amount of evidence that the big delay in the film was a complete re-shifting of designs, the idea they decided to just arbitrarily do something like this is well within the realm of possibility. Though at the same time this would have to have been well before the delay as the props have the Terrorcon symbol on them.

God, what an ugly design.

 

It's not the best design ever but I really don't get the negativity surrounding Scourge. He looks fine, not fantastic, but fine. And people act like there haven't been characters with darker colors before lmao

 

This stuff makes me wonder if the unification of both Scourges is going to be a franchise-wide thing going forward.

 

I guess some people aren't happy that he doesn't turn into a blue space iron x)

I like this control art design of Scourge even if we have seen it before in the form of his Studio Series figure. The render here kind of reminds me of TFP designs, I don't really know why but it's probably because he looks like he has no nose at all. I like that he has faction insignia trophies welded onto his arms too.

Also a hot take but Scourge just feels out of the picture for some reason. It just feels like he doesn't belong there. He just doesn't have that live-action design vibe to him unlike the other control arts we've seen so far.

Yeah Prime and Scourge are definitely two different control arts just photoshopped together rather badly.

As for Scourge looking out of place, it's not the eyes, he just feels like something out of a cartoon or video game when compared to Prime, Bee and even Arcee.
