This is Optimus Primes new truck mode, from a very legitimate source.
Get Gary Chalk back, NOW!
I’m optimistic, but I agree that it’s a bit worrying.
It sounds... interesting to say the least. I'm just kind of concerned that this sounds like being a haphazard clusterfuck of plot ideas like with AoE and TLK. Especially with Lorenzo somehow still having a word in this, insisting it is still a continuation of the Bayfilms and that it will be of similar pace to those.
Like many, I like what I’m seeing with this movie and remain cautiously optimistic for future developments. Bring on the beasts and Terrorcons, I say.
Predacons and Maximals will feature prominently. Meanwhile we get three of them teased and about five or six Autobots.
This sounds promising. Hopefully the story is fleshed out and doesn’t turn out to be a bunch of stuff thrown together.
Sounds awesome, a slow hype is definitely building! I just hope Starscream shows up and actually, y\'know, acts like Starscream. They did him dirty in the Bay movies, never really did any real scheming or backstabbing, he was just...another henchguy. Love to see him as an actual main antagonist, especially if Megatron is not present.
My other wish is at least give us an equal amount of villains rather than just one or two taking the spotlight. It\'s bad enough I feel like the toyline currently is unequal when it comes to the ratio of how many good guys/bad guys there are.
I love how Mirage turns into a Porsche, the one other car manufacturer besides Ferrari that refuses to work with Hasbro.
I'm really interested to see how the Beasts are done in this. I never watched Beast Wars, but I THINK they weren't meant to look like metal in alt mode? It will be interesting to see if they go for that here or if they just embrace fully metal animals?
So the Macguffin will be related to Macchu Picchu somehow.
People saying it continues Bayverse. I don\'t think so. Is that because he\'s a producer? If it does continue Bayverse, wtf? Couldn\'t reboot what they\'ve been doing? A new universe rather than focused on a era or in this case, trying to put two together.
G1/ BW crossover ..hmmm.... I have thought they could add a transformer that transforms into an animal; not necessarily a character from BW .. but this...hmm... doesn\'t feel like it\'ll go well.
one thing im worried about is that there might be way to much going on, this film has 5 transformers factions: autobots being the main focus, decepticons apparently not playing to big of a role but still there, terrorocons which are the main antagonists who despite their name seem to be unrelated to previous terrorcons, and the maximals and predacons which we don't know how much of a role they play.
alos im gonna be pissed if they ditch the bw voice actors for some random big name actors
Yes it is
I have feeling this will be weird mix for common viewer.
And what happen with "no BW movie, maybe later"?
But Hasbro is supposed to have more creative control now. If Paramount said, "Hey guys, Porsche!" Hasbro should have been able to say, "Um, not so fast."
A friend of mine who runs a TF page said "It's gonna be scaled like a Bay film, The only G1 design is confirmed to be only Prime, & the whole visionary is gonna scaled like a bayverse film, Vision & scale, no longer being so character focused & more broad to bigger theming." I don't doubt about him but have you heard more about it?
From the description, it sounds like the Autobots stumble onto a turf war between the Maximals and Predacons and end up helping them fight the Terrorcons. Doesn't sound that complicated.
Separate names with a comma.
