I’m wondering more if there will be advance screenings. I think I remember there was one for the bumblebee movie and the only one that was close to me was downtown where things are really crooked. These days now, my downtown is even worst. Do if there is advance screening for rise of the beasts I hope for a different location.

I might have actually, briefly, forgotten 3D was a thing until I read this. I'm sure they have, but I don't vividly recall a movie really advertising itself as 3D for a long time.

I remember watching DOTM in 3D. It was pretty awesome, in terms of technical 3D work.

Here's hoping this film will be spectacular in 3D too.

I wonder how well it'll work in 3D, ive seen some "3D" movies in the past that were obviously converted to 3D for a higher ticket price and didn't even show anything eye popping.

    I'm assuming that's what we'll get here.

Surely they would've made more of a deal out of the 3D cameras if that was gonna be a factor.

Avatar 2 just joined the $2 billion club. 3D is certainly rising again:rolleyes:

Nice try, but you're not going to lure me into watching another Transformers movie in a theater, not after AoE! I love 3D movies, but not that much!

Desperate for the inflated box office. It worked before, ticket sales went down but box office went up, fooling idiots into thinking the movies were still successful when people were turning off of them.

Hate 3D. I don't enjoy watching things on a dimly lit screen with smudges all over my glasses that never seem to wipe off.

If they actually do have advanced screenings, then that's a good sign. It'd mean the studio is confident that the general audience/fans will like the movie and spread good word of mouth. Although I wonder how far ahead they could do the advanced screening, since Spider-Verse comes out literally right before ROTB.

I mean like…..why though? If you like it fair enough, but I haven’t seen a 3D movie in years, don’t even think my local theaters support that format anymore.
