Yeah but, this is definitely heading in the right direction, which is away from Bayverse, and hopefully "L di ablo" won't be far behind! :lol

I feel like they meant live action movie, TV show, animated movie. I don’t think they meant a trilogy.

edit- eh I actually take that back after reading it again

They really just don’t even want to confirm what continuity anything is in anymore. So many vague remarks have been made about Bumblebee and ROTB being a prequel or a reboot it’s shocking. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if they have no idea what the hell they are doing. They just want to pump out movies. I mean, all they really care about is getting people to sit their asses down in the cinema so they can make some cash. Besides, continuity was thrown out the window a long ass time ago anyway. Lol.

Set in 90s away from Bay verse and NO Megatron (except a toy on shelves)... No kids it's a reboot with no ties to the Bay verse. Fans where's Megatron?... We Froze his character development until further notice...

"We intend to make more products" is basically all you can really take from this. So, at least their optimism for the brand's profitability is probably the highest its been since like 2018 or so.

Well okay, at least they have a plan. I’m for this if the movies are good.

Yikes, it just gets worse and worse for TF fans. I think they'd be very, very lucky at this point to get to 3 more films considering based on everything we know this next one is right back to a complete clusterfuck of no one caring about anything we actually care about. Not that any of the films have ever been very far from that even at their best.

Did people really think they would just...stop making movies after this?

This is the kind of announcement you make after a wildly successful film, not weeks after delaying the film said trilogy will be built off of

Yeah, about that...beasts don't appear to be that important and there are only THREE actual villains. None of whom are beasts. Or Megatron.

Plan a trilogy, good idea, nobody wants another Sequel Trilogy.

End the movie like Independence Day 2, TASM 2, or The Last Knight with your ass hanging out expecting a sequel? Please don’t.

I'm guessing you don't know what "Soft reboot" means given 99% of the old cast was killed and written out at the start of AoE.

    Huh..

I'd be down for that. It sounds messy and silly and would give edgelord closure to the Bayverse that plenty of folk would love for wildly different reasons :lol

And combining the two key depictions of Scourge - herald, hunter, tracker/dark reflection of Optimus Prime into one that bridges movie universes is actually a pretty fucking clever idea.

And it is also a very of the moment thing to do.

It won't be the case, but I've seen dumber things in these films. And I kinda want this to be a thing now.

Honestly that isn't even that bad of an idea, sounds kind of cool the more I think about it. Probably just baseless speculation though, we'll have to wait until we actually see the movie to know:p

No, but they could can the whole "sequel" things quietly, like 2017 PR, or Hollow Man 2020 which got changed into stand alone movie after Tom Cruise feat. The Mummy bombed.
