    Bingo.

Also, the use of the word "installments" instead of "sequels" could mean a TFCU.

    We'll see about that.

Maybe they should wait and see how the next one does before making these announcements.

LOL. Love how they included the Bay font here.

It’s almost like they want to distance themselves from Bay, but at the same time they just can’t let go. For whatever reason that may be.

Can you imagine if they somehow are going to tie in these new movies to Bays films? That’d be hilarious. This upcoming movie will be batshit crazy if they do end up including that Scourge/Bay Prime crap. Would the movie end up being a hot mess if that rumour turned out to be true? Yes, but I think it’d be fun as hell to watch.

Very likely. Plus the Cybertron-set prequel.

    No, no more baystuff. K?

    Right.

No tying into Bay, please? Let the past die.

    Or an HCU?

    I highly doubt that.

Or that they couldn't get the time to make a new font from scratch.

It's okay to plan multiple films as long as the plan includes each film having it's own clear beginning middle and end.

If RotB is as good as or better than Bumblebee and if they can keep the story cohesive, then I'm all for a new trilogy.

Didn't Paramount do something similar before TLK's release? And then changed those plans?

I haven’t seen this much ambition since the time they said TLK would kick off a TFCU. Wait....:popcorn

Also, paramount’s got a lot of announcements today for a streaming service that almost nobody is using:lol

What fucking year is this? 2015? Because this shit sounds familiar, or did we all forget the last time Paramount tried this?

Because this worked out so well and was not a colossal embarrassment for all involved when TLK basically put a shotgun in the TFCU's mouth out of the cradle and pulled the trigger.

This just screams Paramount is entirely fucking desperate at this point to announce a trilogy being launched on the back of a movie that's spent five years in production for a franchise and isn't due for release in another year. The movie should sell itself such that they could use the momentum, but they're doing the opposite, which is of course what happened with the TFCU. And the majority of the people who were involved with the TFCU and specifically TLK? Yeah, they're all still involved, including Lorenzo di Bonaventura who hasn't really been involved with a good film in a long while, and Michael Bay because guess who was on set in Peru because he's still a producer, too. The only guy not involved is I guess Akiva Goldsman but frankly I think that infamous guy's involvement is minimal compared to Bay and particularly Lorenzo who essentially has pissed over source material every single chance he gets.

Announcing a trilogy isn't something to be happy about. What the real play here is Paramount prostrating themselves in front of investors begging them not to pull out and leave an ever-more-obvious-by-the-day sinking ship.

And that's not even getting into the details of the film, which if certain rumors are true...literally nobody is going to like this film.

That is to say that just like Prime and Bee from the movies, they will take out several Primal and Cheetor figures, exploiting them to the point of exhaustion, without a good idea of engineering and making us spend our money for a minimum of repainting and/or remodeling???
