Personally, this one makes more sense to me since it was 3 on 1...and it shows starscream's and grindor's true potential.

 

that is much better, i don't understand why it wasn't in the movie, since it shows Screamer and Grindor actually doing something.

 

I had a hard time finding what was the deleted part and then I remembered that I have the exclusive Wal-Mart edition... it has the IMAX scenes in it. (the "deleted scene" was IMAX-only footage)

 

This deleted scene shouldn't have been deleted. It extended the best scene in the movie, showed exactly what Optimus was up against, and showed him as a badass for kicking butt and taking names (up until the backstabbing).

 

Lol. I forgot this was a deleted scene. (I have the wal mart edition too)

 

Sad this is a scene some people have not seen yet... good thing I've got the Walmart edition too.

 

I love the extended parts, specially the way Starscream jumps around in fight, I think that's what makes his triangle design worth it.

 

Grindor actually does nothing in the original version. Why they left this scene out defeats me. It just makes Grindor look like a worthless 'piece of tin'. At least with this scene, he is actually seen to show a bit of fight. On getting his face torn of when I first saw it in the cinema, I was like 'he just got completed owned'. This applies to Starscream as well, but at least he did fire a few rockets at Prime in the original version.

I was probably cut because it could not fit a widescreen frame without obscuring out essential visuals within the shot.

 

I have the Imax version... =-P
It improves the forest scene.

 

I kinda like Grindor doing absolutely nothing, 'cause he's supposed to be this master strategist.

You people shop at Walmart and admit it? I would feel less shame being caught by the Reverend while leaving the liquor store.

 

I seriously did not notice one difference from the original. Maybe grindor and screamer showed up in one more frame two at the most.

 

Whats wrong with walmart? I find it perfectly fine to shop there.

 

Unnecessary comment is unnecessary. Walmart may be a less classy Target but they keep their shelves stocked. Plus, some of us got the Walmart version of the DVD specifically because of its special features, which included this scene.

 

This was from the IMAX version, right? Funny how they pretty much cut these scenes from the regular movie..these are actually the parts that show them in a somewhat coördinated fight..most scenes look just like a mindless brawl.

 

I'd be embarrassed admitting my reverend shops at a liquor store.

 

Why couldn't that have been in the movie? it was only a few seconds. But it was a few seconds of awsomeness!
