What is your single biggest regret in your Transformers history?

Mine is that i was busy IRL and missed Beast Wars. Like, completely missed. I had no idea it had even happened until years later.

NOTE: 'opening and playing with my <insert generation> toys i had as a kid' is not a valid answer. if you genuinely wish you'd not played with them as a kid you have no soul. Opening and playing with your MSIB fort max aged 30 is a valid answer ;)

I missed out on Energon, Alternators and most of Classics due to collecting stupid trading cards that I haven't touched in years.

Now, missing Energon isn't that bad, but I do wish I had got a Shockblast while I could.

    Ebay:
    1) When my buddies broke my first TF (Mirage - I'm sure I wasn't the only one who had a broken Mirage at the waist), they gave me money to replace him. My Grandpa fixed Mirage, but I stupidly bought Destroyer, the Gobot tank, instead of a TF, meaning I had to pay a big amount of money 15 years later for whatever Series 1 guy that I could have bought back then.

    2) Not buying a Megatron - with his packaging - at a flea market for $5 in the early 90s. What can I say? I was in high school and trying to ignore my youth because it wasn't 'cool'.

    Same here.
A recent one would be not buying Universe 2.0 Cyclonus. Instead, I bought Onslaught who kept on getting restocked while the one and only Cyvclonus I saw was gone.

Walking past racks of Wal-mart Masterpiece Starscreams because I "didn't want to spend 50 bucks, I'll just wait until he's on clearance. There's plenty around."

This. Gave them away as a teen and I had an impecably unbroken, and complete collection from when I was a kid. Minty and complete
omega and metroplex. The only broken one I had was slag which I threw across my room during a temper tantrum. Although I have replaced almost all of it and lots of others that I never had, I am still trying to complete most of them. My current project is completing metroplex. :banghead:
the smilie is about giving them away, I am having fun rebuilding tho.

I was 10 years old when I made the regret a Transformer fan boy could make. I sold many of my Transformers for extra money to purchase junk at the airport's gift shop right before I moved out of state. The Transformers I did not sell I gave to my grandfather to give away.

Me and my brother tore that garage apart almost 10 years ago when we both started collecting. My cousin had a few of my original Transformers gave them back to me. I consider them some of my favorite pieces in my collection.

my otherwise mint metroplex snapped at the waist when i was a kid, so my mother threw him and all his accessories away.

i've never quite got over the trauma enough to buy a new one...

Probably ( and still) letting my brother play with them, he's 11 but doesn't know how to take care of his things, most of the TFs in my collection are remnants of his that I was able to fix since he abandoned them.

Trading off my Action Master Prime with box for an original G1 Prime. Took me years to find a decent replacement AM Prime (still without box) and just as long to wind up with 6 G1 Primes that I had to start giving away. If only I had waited.

Also, my Mom had given me that AM Prime, and I've become more sentimental about the things she's given me over the years.

That sux man. The body is no biggie, it's the accessories that must have hurt. I have an extra body kicking around if you want to start from scratch

    - Passing on Overlord in 1991/1992 when he was on clearance. :(
    - Missing out on RiD first time around (making up for it now though!), as I was under the bizarre impression that a 21-year-old man could not get away with buying loads of toys. I have learned from this mistake.
