I don't know if there already is a topic about this, or if it should be posted elsewhere, but are there any good reference books about transformers? Not just regarding the toys, but something about the (fictional) history of Cybertron and the origin of TF's. I already have the books "Transformers: The Ultimate Guide" and "Transformers Vault". But are there any others?

The Covenant of Primus might be of interest to you. It's the history of the Aligned continuity. I haven't read it yet, so I unfortunately can't comment on the content.

I totally missed your answer, and just stumbled upon this title myself. Looks very interesting indeed. Might have to order this soon.
